I think it's safe to say that Skyrim is GOTY.....

The only bugs I have ran into was dialogue repeating itself occasionally.

Oh, and a companion fleeing once when I used "Warcry".

My top 5 of the year:

1. Dark Souls

2. LittleBigPlanet 2

3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution

4. Skyrim

5. Uncharted 3

This is the best year in the history of gaming IMO.

I have been playing for atleast 25 hours so far and I havent run into a single glitch, only thing that I noticed is that when you dont know your way to a target you can pretty much scale up a mountain by constantly jumping against, Im sure every that plays the game does this and doesnt have a problem with it. its actually very helpful at times when u r being chased by a bear or a troll.

lol ya I try to do that alot, makes it easier to avoid the tough enemies. One thing though I like this time around is that the water has a current, don't know if anyone noticed it but if you jump in the rivers and whatnot they actually carry you downstream. Unlike Oblvion where the rivers don't do anything lol

yea that is alittle cheap, and yea I noticed that the current in the water moves you, that also helped alot when being chased lol!

Those who won't even play the game and still bash it for having bugs are missing out on an incredible game. Yes, there are some bugs and glitches here and there. You will run into one every 5 or 6 hours. Nothing game breaking, mostly harmless. In fact, most of the bugs are quite funny sometimes.

Most of the bug talk I think are coming from people who haven't played the game and are instead just listening to internet trolls. The game is mostly fine, I haven't seen anything that would ruined the game.

I'm playing on the PS3 and have put in about 30 hours so far (had a long weekend lol) and the game just keeps getting better and better! There is so much to do and see that it drops my jaw sometimes! The game is (mostly) flawless and runs and plays great, haven't had any issues or anything. Bethesda really outdid themselves this time, I can't remember the last time a game had me this engrossed!

I haven't played every game this year obviously, but I doubt they can offerwhat Skyrim does. That's why it's GOTY, anyone else feel this way? And what system are you playing on (just for fun, but don't do the fanboy stuff please)?

Generally i liked Dark Souls a million times more and imo is safe to say Dark Souls is GOTY

Witcher 2 was better too, i never though it would be before playing Skyrim, but now i feel W2 was much better game, even though it is very linear
