you sony fanboys have been saying that since launch. it was even supposed to beat 360's life time sales in 2007, and then it was "ps3 will pass 360's sales in 2009" :roll:
I think it's just a matter of time till the PS3 outsells the 360 and becomes the console king (the Wii doesn't count because that's not really a serious gaming console). When it comes to graphics, PS3 games have caught up or surpassed 360 games. PS3 is getting better exclusives. And the PS3 is a much more feature-packed console. And I think the PS3 will have a much longer lifespan than the 360.

i agree the PS3 will beat the Xbox 360 , BUT (and this is a very big BUT) only if Sony make $100-150 price cuts next year (which i dont think they will be doing)

Agreed. If the PS3 finally passes the 360 two years into next gen, would it even matter? And yes, the Wii does count, TC, so the best the PS3 is going to do is #2. "We're Number TWO!!! We're Number TWO!!!" That's a victory chant for a pencil company, not a game console manufacturer.

I believe the PS3 is just the better built machine. But when you throw in the variables, the PS3 has a slim chance to finish first in this gaming console war.
