Nah, as long as the PC version isn't compromised there is no reason to think that. Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 are good examples of being consolized sh!t though.

While I really like BF3 and think in some ways it takes advantage of PC, there are definitely things that were compromised. Pretty much the UI. It is downright awful at times. I think BC2 had a better UI.

Nope. I own and beat both Diablo games and Torchilght. I have followed TL2 and DIablo III. Saying DIII looks like Torchlight is like saying Skyward Sword looks just like Wind Waker. It may be a bit more stylized than past Diablo games, but it is nowhere near as cartoony as TL. More like Diablo II if it had a watercolor painting skin over it.

I've seen people unable to tell screenshots of the games apart multiple times.

Are you in the beta, or just going off of vids? My bro is not convinced DIII will live up to the name, and while I have some concerns, I still think it is doing most everything right and improving upon broken parts of DII.

I personally think the changes to health and TP's and all that make sense. I mean I love DII, but those things really are broken. My only concern is the lasting appeal, since they have respeccing (which i sorta like and sorta don't) and the RMAH (which really should not bother me, but sorta does). Other than that the game looks fantastic. And if they put out a good few expansions packs, I am sure I will be playing it for years to come :P.
