I think the 10 year lisfespan plan is impossible to carry out and Sony Knows it

Maybe they meant it like the PS2, it's still getting games but PS3 is already released for almost 2 years now.EuroMafia

This is exactly how they meant it. They did it with the Ps1, doing it with the Ps2, and will do it with the Ps3. Why don't people realize this?

The console can remain in the market even if their predecessor is released (Ps2 for example), sony allegedly wants the Ps3 to last TEN years in the market which is laughable imo.

remaining on the market is different then a cycle a cycle basically means a generation, and sony has never had a 10 year generation. I just wanted to clear that up for the cows that would come in saying they'd done it before.

Errrrr, Sony specifically said 10 year life span, not cycle. Therefore, it means 10 years on the market rather than 10 years before they release another console.....

Look how long the PS2 lasted...and how long they supported it for, why does it seem impossible? Your basically saying that as time goes on the PS3 gets worser, lol.

Bluray was part of the plan.

Sony backs the plan up with what they did with the PS2, lets just wait and see.
