I thought Phil was righting the ship for Xbox?

Early reports from many countries have reported that Series X sales are much lower than Xbone and that is a console that is widely considered a huge failure.

So that begs the question. What went wrong this time? Is it because Halo Infinite looked like a Genesis game and got delayed from launch indefinitely? Is it because Phil lied about the XSX being more powerful than the PS5 and people choosing PS5 for better versions of every multiplat? Is it because people don't trust Microsoft to release good first party games after a generation full of laughers?

Lems were so confident Xbox would be "back" this gen and yet the brand is now less popular than ever. Heads should be rolling over in Redmond after this failed launch.

Maybe it's me, I don't know...but how can a console launch be a failure if thei stock is sold out everywhere?

In most territories, it seems as if the Xbox allotment is 1/3 of the PS5 stock. That's a failure... That can't happen.

Xbox had nothing to gain from launching when they did. They had no consoles ready, no games ready, and "the tools." Now they're being compared head to head with the PS5 and losing in every metric... That's not a good look

garbage thread. I have both the ps5 and series X. Right now, XsX is undoubtedly better than the ps5, and its not even close. Its all because of gamepass, something that sony can only dream of at this point.

Even if by some miracle you're right that sales in some regions are low, I have no doubt that XsX will sell a shit ton of consoles as word of mouth goes around about how amazing game pass is.

It might be an idea to wait till both consoles are freely available before deciding what is or isn't a failure. I personally can't see any reason to buy either console but hey that's just me.

lol, you cows keep spewing the BS. As someone who owns both consoles, theres no way i'd buy the ps5 version if its available on gamepass. You would have to be the biggest cow on this earth or have money coming out of your ass to do something so dumb.

But its not like new releases come on gamepass, thats only for MS titles. Most 3rd party titles don't release on gamepass, not at launch anyway. Even MS own titles like MSFS take some time for cleanup and optimization.

At this point I've lost count of the games I was going to buy but didn't and was glad I didn't when I played them on Game Pass. Also found some I really liked. Game Pass is a great thing.

Xbox wasting their time again. The Series S is a flop in Europe, and the X already has a weaker street value than PS5. Once people found out that the X was the weaker system, then the shit hit the fan. LOL! Any key games that COULD help the brand are still a million years away. Phil Spencer is terrible.
