Felt to me that i was the only person on this site that was constantly talking about PD pre annoucement, but now, all of a sudden, its a popular game that everyone wants lol. Is it this anticipated because barely anything is coming to the system or because most of you are actually excited for the game?

it comes from starvation. PDZ was dogshit, and this is the first AAA Xbox game in forever that isn't Halo, Gears or Forza. Xbots were excited about Crackdown 3 until it actually came out, and some of them still defended it just because the well was THAT dry. A CG trailer doesn't mean shit. Especially with this company.

Most of the kids hyping it weren't even born when the first one came out. Just more sad desperation from lems with no games to hype.

The specs are clear the XsX is more powerful than the PS5. Those few games you talk about are all getting patches to improve the performance and appearance on the XsX. This proves that its not XsX is weaker, just devs not used to the XsX.

what do you mean you guys lol. I have a ps5 and i've played some very beautiful looking ps5 games that beat out almost every game on the XsX so far. TLOU2 is in a league of its own, its better looking that almost every XsX i've seen so far aside from Forza Horizons. Whatever the case, I wouldn't say the ps5 is more powerful, not with the specs sheet anyway.

Please provide data that validates your claim that sales are slow. Anecdotal evidence is useless.

The XSeX has been out for one month. We don't have anywhere near the time it takes to determine if a system is a failure or not. Considering the system is still selling out for Christmas morning as stock becomes available... I'd say the only thing MS failed in aside from Halo Infinite, is the naming of their newest hardware and perhaps the idea of the Series S in its entirety.

It'll be next year before we can really track how the XSeX is doing.

Also, let's not forget that Microsoft is a bigger company than Sony. If MS wanted, they could've manufactured more stock, like Sony did. Yet MS didn't, because they weren't confident in the Series outperforming the Xbone.

It appears that MS may have adopted a Nintendo strategy: artificial scarcity. That's worked well for Nintendo, so MS may be hoping it works well for the Series.

What i expect? I expect nobody to care about the game, just like before the reboot annoucement. Its not that people didn't have hope, but they did not care about the series. All of a sudden its the best thing ever 🤣

A console that people literally can't buy because it's sold out is a failure.. SW never disappoints..

Yes and I play dozens of games on my Gamepass and 2 or 3 on my Ps4 so once again I see no ship that needs to be righted. And I can play them on console or PC. I for one think Sony should right the ship as they gave up handheld gaming and offer little on PC. Sony is more like a dingy than a ship lol.

Before Goldeneye, Perfect Dark on N64 felt like a huge revolution when Rare made that game amazing on N64 for short years between Goldeneye to Perfect Dark. The original game is, to this day, my favorite N64 game. Perfect Dark Zero was hugely disappointing when it came out (but I can forgive it since it was an Xbox 360 launch game) being not only massively inferior to the original, but also so mediocre in so many ways. I *really* hope that this new Perfect Dark game will be more inline with the original.

(In ways, Perfect Dark Zero predates CP2077 if you look back on that game)

You're right but im not going to hold it against him. I don't think most people have the next gen consoles yet, even one of them let alone both. I made sure to preorder mine as soon as pre orders were available, in the very first minute way back in september I think. Thats the only reason why I was able to score my systems, others weren't as lucky because they didn't follow the announcements.
