I thought Uncharted was Awful

Cool.

One of my favourite games this gen, but to each their own.

Ok. This is your opinion on the game, so there really isn't much to discuss.

i can almost understand the TC point.. uncharted 1 really went down hill towards the end.. it was still a fun game but it coulda been a little bit better.. good thing all of that is fixed in uncharted 2. so to the TC, finish uncharted1 ...and then play the awesomeness that is uncharted 2

You should still try Uncharted 2.

They fixed and improved allot from the original. And added a fun multiplayer/co-op

I skipped the 1st, but loved the 2nd

Trust me, just finish Uncharted 1, and try not to red any spoilers about the game.

If you really want to just try Uncharted 2, you don't have to really play UC1 to keep up with what's happening. It's basically a story of itself with the same characters.

Do you have an agenda? haha! :P , btw I agree with you as you can see from my other post! Maybe it was the lack of super powers, sci-fi setting or whatever but I didn't like this game as much as others did.

I would still try Uncharted2 bud... I would give Uncharted a 7.5 or 8/10 and Uncharted2 a 9/10 or 9.5/10

I didn't like Uncharted 2, so that doesn't bode well for my interest in Uncharted 1.

I for one thought Uncharted 2 was extremely overrated.I never even finished the campaign because it was so boring.The only thing worth it is the co-op multi-player,and even that gets old.It's a decent game,but no where near as good as all the praise it's gotten.Guess it's just not for me,seemed too cartoony for some reason.

I agree, I beat the first game and thought that it was horrible. I did not care for the sequal. When it got such a high score, i thought, what the hell, so I tried the demo. It was the same crap. I did not try the full game.

I liked the first uncharted and while playing the game I think most people kept in mind that this wasnt just a new game but the start of a new franchise. So yeah the ending was blah and some of the gun fights got repetitve but the characters were likeable and you could see the game had a lot of room for improvement. Now the question is can they top UC2 as much as they did with UC1.

people like the first uncharted for a few reasons:

• the graphics - some would say the best looking shooter on consoles until gears 2
• the color - different from a lot of the other shooters coming out in 2007/2008 in that it actually had color
• personality - it was pretty much the only shooter on the ps3 with personality, even if it was sort of a rip-off of tomb raider and indiana jones - that was still more original than if it had been another post-apocalyptic shooter

i actually bought the game day 1 back in 2007, but honestly only played it a couple times before i went back to COD4, Uncharted 2 is pretty much improved on the first one in every way although if you didn't like the concept of the story from the first game you probably won't like the concept for the story in the second game

what? really? uncharted DF was one of the games you'll never get bored playing because of the pacing. UDF still looks stunning.

how anyone can call Uncharted awful or terrible is beyond me. Yes the sequel is the better in pretty much every respect, but the first is still an incredibly well-made game. Both are essentials of this gen, and I think the second one's a lot more enjoyable if you've played the original.
