This game is shaping up to be be Sea of Thieves: Fallout edition by the looks of it.
Ha! That's actually a pretty good analogy. Lol

Just seems like there are certain similarities between the two. When you hear stuff like 'it's a game where you have to make your own fun', 'large empty world' or 'not as entertaining to play solo' then it's hard not to make the comparisons.
Could be completely wrong of course! Fallout 76 has only just come out and I hear SOT has had a bunch of content added, so take my words with a pinch of salt. :D
Wouldn’t be surprised if PC Master Race was review bombing it just bc the game has no FOV slider.
Petty ass shit like that will trigger them.

I played the beta, and I can say that it is better than Sea of Thieves; however, it really isn't much better. Just like Sea of Thieves being way overpriced, I think the same thing of Fallout 76. Sea of Thieves should have been at the 30 dollar mark, and Fallout 76 at the 40 dollar mark, at most.
I think user reviews generally do more harm than good these days, and i'm guessing they are one of the reasons so many devs are leaving steam for their own launchers.
I'm all for anything that will antagonise the types of people who review bomb a game without even playing it
What are you talking about? You have to own the game to be able to review it on Steam and everyone can see your play time, so it's easy to know if the review is legit or not, unlike trash sites lime MC, where anyone can post BS reviews on anything.

Bethesda games never had a FOV slider and always came with tunnel vision default setting, you fucking troll.
@TheEroica: I have logged a lot of hours into it. It's... not that great.
@rmpumper: Same shit different day.
What was once accepted might no longer be accepted anymore.
I’ve seen countless videos complaining about that exact thing: “in 2018 no FOV slider???”
So my statement isn’t far fetched you fucking hack.

The same exact thing was said about every other previous game without a FOV slider, you idiot. You know, in games like Fallout 4, before that in Skyrim, before that in New Vegas, before that in Fallout 3, before that in Oblivion, not to mention FPS games like CoD4, Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor, Metro 2033 and Last Light AND the Redux releases, etc.
But you are a pretend PC gamer, so the **** do you know about FOV in games as real PC gamers have been complaining about no FOV sliders since devs started to use tunnel vision setting as default (early 2000s games did not have this issue as they came with ~90 FOV in the first place).
@rmpumper: Don’t be mad just bc you guys finally acted in a childish way due to a petty gripe.
Been a PC gamer since 2000. FOV sliders aren’t some hidden secret. I know about them, sport.
Well, it's sub 50 on Metacritic.
So much for that I guess.
This could end up being the lowest rated release from a major publisher in quite some time.

Square Enix just released The Quiet Man so it will be spared that indignity at least
