@silversix_: not sure how. AW was the first one I played since BLOPS and I don't care for it. What else you got?
Nothing. I got nothing left.

Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but originality is the mark of artistic independence.
@silversix_: lawls, so you spent $40 on a game that didn't even last you a month after previously buying it last year? Boy, they saw you coming.
Yup, same thing will happen with most everyone buying Halo 5 except it'll be $60 and you'd be lucky to have fun in the game 2 weeks after launch. No wonder Halo games are a ghost town 2-4 weeks after release.
What Halo games have you been playing ?
Halo, ghost town ? After 2-4 weeks ?
Be quiet.

I wouldn't be surprised if it took less in MCC, the latest Halo game.
Bungie are incapable of making an FPS mmo... so they made Halo meets Borderlands and messed it up brilliantly ... so there is no chance of that ( i know they are not the halo team anyway) ...
Kinda ironic that people are blasting the TC in this thread... for wanting large scale halo ... considering the current Halo is Halo-Meets-CoD ... an even worse direction....
Halo still sells well, destiny sells well, star wars battlefront will sell well ... all hollowed out shill games surviving on past achievements... and not on their modern day merit.... which is non existant outside of production budgets.

Why ?
Halo meets Cod ?
I disagree.

The core gunplay leads closer to it since Halo 4. killstreaks, etc etc. again, its minor. but still.
Halo had far more potential than that. Hence why Destiny has over-shadowed it completely.

...Well I don't see why implementing kill streaks makes it meet COD ?
Are killstreaks bad ? Just because COD had them ?
That makes the direction bad ?
On the core gunplay subject: Don't you think that the core gunplay would change over the course of several years with more ideas being integrated ?
It should but I don't see how it's leading to COD. If it's closer to COD then it's so faint that I can just as well say it's closer to Battlefield because of the ambiguity.
Destiny has not overshadowed it. They are entirely different games...
Destiny has RPG elements. It creates a great difference in my opinion.
In what way does it overshadow Halo ?

Destiny has RPG elements. It creates a great difference in my opinion.
In what way does it overshadow Halo ?
So what if destiny has RPG elements? in the Multiplayer it translates to a similar experience. very similar core glassic gameplay. its far more addictive because it has carrots on a stick everywhere ... its Halo mixed with RPGs elements ... and has replaced Halo in relevance.
You can keep defending, but statistics speak for themselves... initial sales of Halo are high, but its staying power, and overall player population after a short period PLUMMETS compared to its predocessors.
Its not as big as it once was, why is that so hard to accept?
Why would you want Halo to be BF with a skin on it? Surely then it's not Halo, unless you just like the look of the characters and environments. But that would be a silly reason to buy Halo instead of BF when you like BF gameplay a lot more. All games could be identical with different skins using this reasoning, which would be terrible. It is already occurring a little bit, and that is enough.
No, it doesn't need to play like battlefield. If you want battlefield go play battlefield
obviously, but Halo looks dated...and just static..old formula, etc.
No, it's just different. All games don't need to be the same. A little variety makes games worth playing.
I never played Battlefield, but even then, I don't want a game to feel like another game. As so many have said before, if you want a game to play like Battlefield, play Battlefield.

.....
Never did I say that it is still as big as it once was.
I keep defending the fact that you said that Halo is becoming a mixture of COD and also that Destiny overshadows halo... ( in terms of what ? )
Well it looked like you meant in terms of sales....which I didn't think you meant....my bad.
But still in my opinion, the RPG elements alienates it from Halo.
There's no weight in Halo at all. lol
Playing as an augmented human in a suit of Armor like Iron Man, why would an assault rifle and ammo feel weighty? I was able to move with that in 2011-2014. 500 years from now I'd like to believe we've advanced lightweight materials by then.
Halo aims at pleasing kids. BF is aimed at adults. BF's formula will never be in Halo.
super duper fail. All BF aims at nowadays is your wallet.
Cut him slack dude. Halo is an acclaimed title for the Xbox platform. He hates everything xbox.

LMAO sure, like when you said Sunset Overdrive is going to bomb and critics will confirm it. Then it was universally received as a solid 8/10 great game. Your predictions rule bro!!! It's like Ms. Cleo, nothing has to make sense or come true because its so funny.
So let me get this straight: you have bashed Destiny since it came out, admitted you put 500 hours into it, but call it trash? Then you went and bought the $40 expansion to it?!!! To a game you repeatedly call trash? You have 0; nein; ZERO credibility bro.

You started with "So what if it has RPG elements" but then went on to use RPG elements as a positive. WTF?
Destiny in a Multiplat that reaches more gamers than Halo. Its logical for people to think one over shadows the other because more people have access to one than the other. No Halo isn't as big as it once was. Why should that detract from anyone's possible enjoyment of the upcoming game?
As antiquated as Halo looks and feels I think it should still play like a Halo game. The last thing we need is another BF clone.
It seems you would benefit from playing Planetside 2 OP. It has the scifi look of Halo but the large conflict scale of a BF game (it's actually larger than BF) and it's a great game. I highly recommend it if you're a BF fan. I'm a huuuuge BF fan and I just recently got into Planetside 2 and I'm having a blast.

nobody ever said it did.
considering the current Halo is Halo-Meets-CoD ... an even worse direction....
The current Halo plays nothing like CoD unless we're talking what Warzone, and at that point its more elements from a Moba than anything else.
Halo 4 had CoD elements, but anyone that has played the beta can out right tell you the CoD similarities wouldn't apply.
