Combine and make 1 super console.
Sony puts a blu ray player in it.
Microsoft puts better online play on it.
Combine exclusives.
I'd buy it.

No thanks. I'd rather Sega and MS work together....well the Sega of the Dreamcast days. Although I would take a Blu-Ray player, however, I'll just stick to a stand alone BD player. I hate playing DVDs and Blu Ray on the consoles themselves, never works as well.
Xbox Live being better than PSN is debatable but that's for a different thread (which we will see 3... 2... 1...) Competition = Good thing. So as nice as it would be, it's for the better that it won't happen.EliteM0nk3y
It still would have the PC and WII to compete with at least.
Exactly. Competition ensures that us consumers don't get stiffed in the price department. So we'll get an overly-priced system with pay-to-play online?
No thanks.

Still, the more competition, the better for everyone. Everyone except the mods regulating System Wars. :P[QUOTE="crimsonman1245"][QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"]Xbox Live being better than PSN is debatable but that's for a different thread (which we will see 3... 2... 1...) And its a PC=Ultimate gaming platform. What more could you want?happy?

If they did you would see something like $1000 for the cost of the console then a $150 yearly charge to play online. Games would cost $100 brand new as well and you would have to have a constant internet connection to be able to play any game. Firmware updates would also cost money each time you did it.

no thanks.. i like the way sony does things.campzor
Agreed. And unlike Microsoft, Sony has recently proven that they have the balls to perma-ban cheaters and hackers.
