How is the Wii's controller anymore "NEXT GEN" Then the 360s or PS3s? It might be different, but it does not make their controllers "last gen".

    And my point is that if you watch the beta footage in HD, and then play Halo 2, you will immediately notice a difference. Halo 2, while nice at the time, has horrible graphical flaws and "cheater" textures in place.

Microsoft and Sony are huge corparations with many divisions. Nintendo is just gaming. They have to make a profit on it... it's their only choice.

    HALO HAS NEVER HAD THE BEST GRAPHICS OF ITS TIME. It has always had a non-photorealistic art direction, with exagerated models and colors.

    It is more about gameplay than graphics with Halo. Period.

Atleast pick a good Halo 3 beta shot if your gonna pick one at all. 

Anyway as a Wii owner I do wish the Wii had the power of the PS3 and 360, it would make the games so much more better with the next gen graphics, animations, physics, characters on screen, ect.   Though without the power the wii is still a good console.

Graphics still played a big part. That was last gen... everyone was waiting to see amazing graphics for Halo 3... there is no denying that. Now that they aren't here... it's "damage control" or whatever you call it here. But, I agree that MULTIPLAYER was a huge aspect on it, and that qualifies as gameplay. I like Halo, I'm not a huge fan, but I play it with my friends every now and then. It's a great game, but... I think it's overrated. But I respect the game and its fans.

There's absolutely no way it could cost them $200 to make.  They sold the GameCube for $200, and there's only been marginal improvements to the hardware since then.

That is true. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that next gen they won't make near as much of a profit. They are certainly raking in the dough and I hope Nintendo actually uses it in benefit for the gamers in some way.

There's not denying that. As I said, most of the people jumping on these threads are over zealous cows and sheep looking to bash the most anticipated game this gen. The graphics could have been amazing and of course we still would have found something to pick at. As long as Halo can deliver in the online portion, it will be amazing and fans will love it... bottom line.
