I wonder how good killzone 2 looks now..

So that alpha stage was some of the greatest graphics I've ever seen then during december they shown some mind blowing graphics. CGI quality. I wonder how they look now, that the game is close to finish? Going to show pics that show its amazingness. Hope they fix the gameplay to make it as suitable as the graphics are.

The devs said there going to make it get to the level of the CGI at 05, and I think I believe them, but its going to take it past the 2008 date if it wants to do that

I wasn't really part of that group, but boy was that awful. I saw the first screens and knew what Bungie was going for, and knew it wasn't going to be a graphical powerhouse. Some people just expected Halo 3 to be the "end-all" video game or something.

It'll look better, I dont wanna say by a lot, but i know it'll look truly amazing. More awe-inspiring then Gran Turismo definately. The amount of polish overall, the budget, and the freedom from Sony time-wise will make the game great imo.

It feels like they might have wanted to do this with the first Killzone, but the technology didnt allow it, now they have the technology and they're running wild with what they truly wanted.

I just watched the trailer on my PS3 a few days ago, and the animations look awkward in motion.

It will be graphically the best looking game on any console when it comes out, that much im sure of.

Just went upstairs and watched it and it looked great.

I mean there all pretty ugly if thats what you meant by goofy :?

In all honestly it could look worse we have no idea how much they had done at that point it could have been a small section of the game and they have been building the rest of the game in the meantime. Graphical touches could be sacrificed to ensure a good framerate etc.

But in all probability it probably looks about the same

While it won't reach the level of Crysis,it will set a new standard for graphics on a console IMO.From what I've seen of the footage released so far I think its shaping up real nicely.

Killzone2 still looks amazing.

So, when is the next big game event that we can expect some media on Killzone2 from?

The Hypocrisy that follows KZ2 is killing me, really.

Gears was slammed for having greys, browns and Blacks, now KZ2 has Greys...Browns...and Blacks.

Fable 2 is said to flop because the first one flopped, KZ2 is hyped out of the stratosphere, even though the first one got a 6.9.

Cows claim that 360 only has FPS games, KZ2, and Resistance are two of the most hyped games on the PS3...and are FPS's.

Cows laughed in Lemmings faces when they said taht Halo 3 will look as good as the CGI trailer, cows are now hyping KZ2 to look as good as it's CGI trailer.

Need I say more?

Personally, I think KZ2 looks great (Technically) It has pretty lighting, and good character models, but the color scheme and art style is pitiful. I cant comment on Gameplay seeing as I have not played KZ1.

I am personally looking forward to FF13, MGS4, LBP, and GT5 (Never been into racing sims, but GT is looking very promising) much more than KZ2.

Um, these aren't final builds buddy. ME was pretty smooth in it's first gameplay video as well. Gameplay vids show software that is usually ran on CDs that only play a PORTION of the game, like a demo. Therefore the console doesnt load as much data and the game runs smoother. There's this little technique called "MARKETING" which fools people into believing certain things. Every single game in the biz has claimed to doing something it cant actually do. KZ2's 30 fps is probably gonna be that. And the PS3 does have 256 mb ram. Your reason for it having 512 didnt even make sense. Grammar bro.
