Sure, PC gamers always brag about having the best versions of games and act like they are above console gamers, but really are they?

PC gamers don't get to relax on a couch while they play a game, they get to sit upright in a chair. Alright I guess thats not too bad. What about the tiny screen PC gamers play on? I cant stare at a computer screen for a long time, eventually I get a headache, but whatever thats just me right? Having a comfy couch and large tv to play video games is what I prefer. PC gamers also lack variety in the types of games they get to play, MMO, FPS, RTS, RPG. Although thats not completely true, you don't hear many games that don't fall into one of those category's being hyped for PC.

I guess that stuffs not a huge deal, the real reason I would never become a PC gamer is because most hardcore PC gamers have no life, honesty say what you want to me but it is true. A lot of my friends own a console (usually an xbox or wii, occasionally a ps3) its pretty normal. But I do not know anybody that uses a PC for gaming that doesn't sit by themselves at lunch. The only people that talk about playing WoW are the ones with few real friends. You can call me an idiot, I don't care. I am stating an opinion based off of many observations.

But then again, I cant blame them, If i wasted that much money to play games on something "superior" to a console i would spend my life playing Half Life 2 on my computer also.

Here we go...

I'm totally with you, but no hermit is going to let you get out of here with the knowledge that you can in fact, build a gaming pc and hook it up to your tv, blah, blah, as if anyone ever does that.

Thanks for that. I'm going to fire up my LCD Projector, turn on my TRUE force-feedback flight yolk, situate myself over my pedals and fly some WW2 online aerial combat in front of an 8-foot projection while pretending I didn't waste my time reading this post.

1) You're saying you don't sit upright in a couch? Do you lay down and fondle yourself whlie playing games?

2) Yeah, it's just you. The screens are hardly tiny(I have a 22 inch widescreen), and you can hook it up to an hdtv anyways

3) MMO, FPS, RTS, RPG. What the hell else do you need? There's good TPS' on the computer, and sports/racing games are also good.

4) That's WoW players that have no friends. They have e-friends. PC gamers are no different than console gamers.

5) But you are right, they do have something "superior" to what you have.

I don't even have a gaming PC, but this thread is terrible.

I sure as hell hope not. That would be just scary. Seriously, half of my school playing one game like that would just be messed up. Especialy a nerdy game like Counter Strike. That would be one messed up school. I'd be concerned.

counterstrike is by far the most played online FPS...by far.....much more so then Halo 2.

My pc is connected to my 50inch lcd tv and i got the adapter so i can use a 360 controller to play games on my couch, apart from the price (which is hardly a downside cause if you look around you can get some cheap hardware) there are NO downsides to having a gaming pc.

I sure as hell hope not. That would be just scary. Seriously, half of my school playing one game like that would just be messed up. Especialy a nerdy game like Counter Strike. That would be one messed up school. I'd be concerned.

So I guess halo is what the "cool kids" play. Grow up man.

If you think it's normal for half a school of people to play Counter Strike then maybe you need to think about how you live. If you think me saying Counter strike is a nerdy game means I should grow up you have a problem.

counterstrike has far more players online then Halo 2.

Yeah, thats because it's full of die hards and it's free.

its not free....

Actually, yeah. It pretty much is.

In the position you are in you have no room to be calling anything nerdy, especially in a condisending way.

What position am I in?

The position of having nearly 16,000 posts in a gaming forum and claiming other people have no lives. That one.

Dude, I've been on these forums for three years. I've had time to add em all up. It's not like they all got there in a day. Do the math.

What I don't understand is why you would want to post a topic so ridiculously ret*rded...

I shall make a new thread myself... I would NEVER want to be a REPUBLICAN...

Pok3master

My pc is connected to my 50inch lcd tv and i got the adapter so i can use a 360 controller to play games on my couch, apart from the price (which is hardly a downside cause if you look around you can get some cheap hardware) there are NO downsides to having a gaming pc.

Then why didnt you just buy an xbox?

I like to have the best graphics possible, and i enjoy upgrading my pc, I also really like 360 for games like halo 3 mass effect and so on...

because they dont allow you to have mods....have far less games....dont go 64 players online all the time...have worse graphics...ETC.

Yea thats it.

Its funny that people think that if you have a pc you can only play on a small 15inch monitor at a computer desk.
