[QUOTE="Malta_1980"]seems like the only good exclusives on Wii come directly from Nintendo' dev teams... the rest are average games...
So I dont agree when people state the Wii is getting lots of AAA exclusives... Nothing agains the Wii but I think there AAA titles are same old franchises (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, SSB) being used and abused because the Big 'N' lacks ideas...
fanboys state that nintendo has always been revolutionary and the Wii is an example but then they keep playing the same old games with Mario in it... So honestly Nintendo has a limited AAA title list because its limited to the Mario / Zelda franchise...

All the companies reuse games. Its just that sony and microsoft are newer. Yet already there seems to be a ton of final fantasy games. All companies like to reuse their franchises.
Yes but FF series come from a 3rd party dev house not from Sony... All companies have franchises but for example Sony released games such as Resistance, Uncharted which are new to this generation... Old franchises such as Ratchet / Jax, GOW are like babies when compared to Mario & Zelda who's been around since the early/mid 80's... So as much as I respect Nintendo they surely are not that innovative when it comes to new ideas/games/characters creation..
[QUOTE="Spider-Jones"]Since December Wii has had:
Galaxy 9.5 Goty exclusive
NMH 9.0 exclusive
SSBB 9.5 exclsuive
What AAA games has the 360 had since Dec?
What AAA games had the PS3 had since Dec?
What games does the PS3 have that have scored a 9.5 period?
saolin323
Sorry, but each of Mass Effect, Bioshock and Lost Odyssey, crap all over all tyhe above games combined !!!!! Scores mean nothing, i owuld never play SMG or SSBB, they are mediocre to garbage overrated games to me, and look like crap too
Remember, if hose games were on PS3 or 360 would be 3-4/10 scored
 Funny, haters weren't saying that when the Wii didn't have 4 AAAEs

Nintendo is continuing to make new franchises... I don't know why people can't see it.

can you list a few of the new franchises ? Because except for the usual Mario this and Mario that, Zelda and Metroid, I saw nothing new...
Dont list Wii fit or Wii sports... those are not games just gimmicks...

Depends what franchise. Mario has always innovated. Not in story and character but in terms of gameplay they have. And although zelda TP was my first zelda game, playing the previous ones I can see how some people thought it stale. nintendo have made new franchises, just not the same calibre as zelda and mario. My original point was that nintendo aren't the only ones guilty of overusing franchises, that is all.

Pikmin which started on the GC, and the third one rumoured to be coming this year for Wii
Animal Crossing started a few years ago on the GC/DS as well, and is coming to the Wii later this year
Disaster: Day of Crisis coming this year, 100% new IP
Then theres also other ones that aren't new but haven't been used much, such as F-zero, Star Fox and Donkey Kong.
Nintendo have already released alot of their main franchises and it's only over a year old. Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros and Mario Kart etc, so it's obvious theres heaps of more fresh stuff coming.

Depends how you define new. Super smash brothers and f-zero have been around awhile but have only had 3 games (consoles). Stuff like Battalion wars and Animal crossing is new as in it was made recently.

Oh man I'd love Eternal Darkness 2 to be announced. It was one of my favourite GC games by far.
What is with you Wii haters saying that Nintendo has nothing on the horizon? No matter how many times we show you the huge list of upcoming games, you just pretend not to notice and keep on repeating your mantra... "Wii's games have run out... Wii's games have run out..."Nintendo has delivered a gamers dream so many big titles out in about a year, I sure wish I could have gotten GTA4, GOD3, MGS4, FF13, Tekken6, RE5, NG2, GT5, SC4 in about a year.
Wii owners are making me laugh, do you all realize that nintendo came out in their first year with all guns blazing. Nintendo has emptied out every last clip and bullet. LOZ, MP3, SMG, and Brawl all in about one year what else is left for the Wii:? That wasn't smart from Nintendo, people weren't buying up the Wii because of its outstanding games they could have afforded to stretch their big titles out more.
Seeing that most Wii owners keep using first party titles for ownage and not third party titles and seeing that there really aren't any notible third party titles on the horizon. Wii owners go ahead and enjoy your first party titles while they last, because I see a very big dry spell coming up.

It surpassed every other game of its type for new idea's. Still prefer RE though capcom did rip it off with some of the idea's but its a close 2nd.

Well start hypying these third party games instead of threads about AAA first party games to try and prove Wii superior software. The only third party game that I remember Wii fans mentioning that was notible was NMH and if that game had been on the PS3 or 360 it would have gotten between a 4-6.
