The thing is the 360 is cheaper AND has better graphics currently.CraigJK
Right now. However, Lemmings are acting that if the Playstation 3 can surpass the gaming quality with one game, then the whole world is over. I'm getting tired of this. The Playstation 3 should have more strength since it is more expensive. That doesn't mean it's gonna win. Multiplats will most likely look identical between consoles, which make about most of the market.
Would you want it to Handle KZ2 when you have Halo 3?FLamezero991
My point taken. It's not that big of a deal if KZ 2 can't be handled by the 360. Just means PS3 gets it's money worth from 1st party.

So you think that lemmings freak out that KZ2 can't be handled by the 360? Im getting a little confuzed at your point.
The 360 can handle k2...don't let anyone tell you otherwise...This gen is alot more closer in terms of power compared to lastgen, The only thing that would be needed is 2 dvd9 disk's and overall have the engine remade to take advantage of the 360...Simple.

Nice one. Agreed.

Yah. They act like it's the end of the world when it isn't.
If KZ2 was built from the ground up for 360...then absolutely yes, it certainly is possible for 360 to handle it.
360 has the most efficient hardware (according to notable devs), especially its 512mb UMA Ram.

if you believe that 360 can handle KZ2 then you have no clue about both systems.

At owning both a PS3 and 360 I can sort-of agree, 360 owners seem to negative-hype KZ2 WAAAY more than PS3 owners give it positive hype.
The bad thing is 360 lacking a standard HDD and the space limits of DVD9. Those are deficiencies that have affected and will always affect 360 games. Otherwise it's good hardware capable of good visuals, even if it isn't capable of special things the Cell can do.
I really believe if MS had waited till 06 to launch they would currently be leading with huge momentum if they did it right. HD-DVD standard, well designed and reliable(no power brick either), and more powerful hardware that would've been shaming PS3 day 1, and cost $400. With GeOW as a launch title and Halo3 year1 holiday vs exactly what PS3 has now, this gen would've gone hands down to MS. But instead what we have is rushed junk hardware and any hope of MS dominance is long fizzled out with a really bleak future.

I find it rare to find occassions to agree with him but Maddog is correct.
its not a question of whether or not the 360 can handle KZ2 because it can. The problem is that DVD9 doesn't have enough disk space to fit all that stuff on it. But if you were to switch the dvd drive in the 360 with an HD-DVD drive it could run Killzone 2.NFJSupreme
Or they could, you know, ship the games on two discs. Thats still possible, right?
No, it means very little.
Games are optimized for the type of hardware they're run on. Just because killzone runs great on ps3, and maybe not so much on 360, says virtually nothing about the power of either system. Killzone relies on the best aspects of ps3's design, meanwhile a great 360 game might rely on the strengths of the 360 platform and not be suited for ps3.
An analogy: Just because I can't perform surgery with a chainsaw as well as I can a scalpel, does that mean the chainsaw is a worse tool for cutting?

Too bad MS never included a hard drive and an HD-DVD player in every 360. It would have been running circles around the PS3.[QUOTE="NFJSupreme"]its not a question of whether or not the 360 can handle KZ2 because it can. The PS3 is still being outsold by the other consoles day in day out, right?
[QUOTE="atarigrad"]Who says it can't? I guess PS3 can't handle madden 08 because it only runs at 30 fps on ps3. LuvGamingEA sais otherwise.
EA says otherwise? So your going to believe the claims of a SOny developer over a game that has proven it doesn't run as well on PS3? Killzone can run on 360 just fine. Wait til Halo3 comes out and then people will stop trying to claim 360 can't run any game. Bioshock looks incredible and Halo3 will HAVE IT all

Actually, the PS3 is outselling the 360 worldwide. Anyways, if the 360 would have included a hard drive and an HD-DVD drive in every 360, developers would almost have no limit for creating games. The PS3 would have nothing over it basically. I probably would have purchased a 360 from day one instead of a PS3.EA sais otherwise.[QUOTE="LuvGaming"][QUOTE="atarigrad"]Who says it can't? THe claims of a sony developer? Dude, ea claimed themselves that the reason the PS3 version of Madden 08 ran at 30fps is because the game is running on an optmized 360 engine, they've had 3 years to work on the 360 and that they prioritize the games for the 360 first before the PS3. After a $100 dollar price drop, when demand should peak, they barely outsold the X360 worldwide. And considering the X360 is having its own price drop soon, that isn't going to last. There are no limits on game creation due to size constraints: games can be shipped on multiple discs.
But whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night.

Well, Europe loves the PS3 and so does Japan. I doubt a price drop would help MS out enough.Btw, your offering opinions and not facts. So, whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night. =PPlease Log In to post.
