what will the reaction be like on system wars?

I would be surprised but not technically as shooters allways usually flop or go big.what will the reaction be like on system wars?
Panther501
you mean WHEN it flops?? Both in sales and in score??? I really dont understand why 3rd parties invest so much in creating REAL games for the wii when the only ones that sell are 1st party games, and "wii games"what will the reaction be like on system wars?
Panther501
The same that happens everytime a game flops: hate. Btw, the game looks meh.IronBass
Nah I wouldnt like that plus if it does flop why hate it because you cant say "OMGZ ITZ OVARRATED!" infact hating floped games kinda looses credibility so id love to see you all hate it if it flops and it probably wont judging by the trailer.
Then I will go into that thread with all caps and fill a post with my laughter.
lundy86_4
What's stopping you from doing it right now??
what's the conduit even hyped? A? AA at most.. what are the chances its going to get below a 7? it looks decent. not super mega awesome, but decent.
but anyway, if it flops, SW wont have a huge reaction. people will laugh at the sheep for a week or 2, then forget it

Nah if it doesnt flop theyll loose much credibility and Im going to laughWhat really gives me peace of mind is that if it doesn't flop, only you will be laughing at me... if it flops, everybody will be laughing at you. Try not to end up emo or something, will ya??
90% of Wii owners will be unsurprised, as they didn't hype it, while cows and lems will claim "ownage".
Is it really a flop when nobody really expects it to be good?mo0ksi
Exactly. Even most Wii owners don't think it will score more then a 7 or 8(at least from my observations).
I never said it wouldnt flop or would I just said its hardcore so no one will laugh at me GreenGoblinBanjo_Kongfooie
So you claim you're not supporting the game and you know it'll flop... but you'll lol at me if it indeed does flop??
Should I lol at you too?? Oh wait, I'm already doing that with your topic

I didnt say that dont put words in my mouth >:( I said I was NEUTRAL there is a major difference.Well if you're neutral, why do you even bother on definding a game that not many people cares about?? it gives the impression you're one of those peeps.
If someone bashes a game I don't care about, I just laugh at the whole thing, I don't defend the game
I'm going to enjoy it if the Conduit flops, because I hate the topics like "The Conduit looks as good as Halo 3" or "The Conduit looks twice as good as Crysis."
I really wouldn't be surprised if High Voltage's "magnum opus" fails to sell particularly well, simply because (as others have stated) it's a hardcore title that's being released for a console whose demographic seems to consist of non-gamers (65%? 70%?). The topic creater needs to take other factors into account, such as many Wii owners just not having the time to play hardcore games but only have the time to play games such as Bit.Trip Beat and Gradius Rebirth with the half-hour of free time that they may have.
There's a LOT of additional factors that have surfaced in whether or not a game will sell on Wii in comparison to the other consoles, such as:
The demographic: The majority of the Wii audience wouldn't even give the game a glance, in fact almost every hardcore FPS fan has moved on to the Xbox 360 and Steam for their multiplayer FPS fix. The size of the audience anticipating The Conduit just can't compare to more family-friendly software such as Wii Fit or maybe the upcoming Wii Sports Resort.
Money: Can we safely assume that the Conduit will be a $50.00 USD game? The average Wii owner may be used to $30-40 price points - and with the North American economy in a tailspin, friendly, cheap games which can be purchased for half the price of "good" titles is a deal to them (and a curse to the hardcore gamer stuck with a Wii, like myself).
Advertising: The game NEEDS MORE HYPE. Just pushing the game trailers on sites such as Joystiq, Kotaku and Gamespot isn't enough. Nintendo really needs to provide more advertising support for key third-party AA and AAA titles for their platform in the same manner that they assisted Namco in promoting Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube in 2004. A lot of hardcore gamers turned their nose up at Tales games and the Gamecube in general until Nintendo allocated more resources into full-page magazine advertising and KEPT PUSHING IT long after the game's release. Don't let promising games such as the Conduit, Mad World, Phantom Brave, Muramasa: The Demon Blade or PES 2009 slip from would-be purchasers' memories. Put some of those billions of dollars earned from hardware and Wii Play sales to use.
Unrealistic Wii owners: I've stated above that there's not enough hype, but I've read a few posts recently stating that for all of HV's hype regarding the game engine, the graphics (compared to Xbox 360 games) are subpar. Some Wii owners have trouble accepting the fact that the best development software in the world can't change the physical internal specs of the console itself. A 795 MHz machine with limited graphical capabilities just can't compare with the capabilities of the 360 and PS3 no matter how much we want the developers to push the envelope.
I've said my peice. Please keep in mind that I'm a Wii and DSi owner but am very pessimistic about the Conduit's chances at success. After researching Moon's failure on the DS and it's causes, I could see an even worse circumstance for The Conduit.

Your saying a flopped game is a REAL game?? why would we want a bad game to sell? How is abad game a REAL game or so you say?what will the reaction be like on system wars?

It's not 1993? Then why are they selling Genesis games at my local gamestop? I think you're lying to me and it is actually 1993.
