If consoles had no exclusives, which console which you get?

I would just build my own and add to it over time wen needs be, no point in getting any console which becomes outdated in a month or two after launch without a good exclusive lineup.

I AM NO FANBOY!!!!!!...I simply cant stomach snotnosed,idiots that think everything they do,say and think is correct and everyone else is a complete dumars....thats all. What consoles do better to me is..THEY are made from ground up to play games. I have grown up playing consoles. When a game comes out it will 100% of the time work. "didnt say no bugs,but it works"...THere is zero knowledge needed to use a console. No hardware and software incompatibilities...They do what they do well..play videogames.

I like PC gaming as well. BUT ITs NOT BETTER!!! and when hermits get that through their thick skulls maybe they will quit playing the "my hardware is incredible" game and start enjoying the games the developers are selling. PCs have mods,and free content sometimes. THATS IT in my book thats even worth mentioning...When all you want to do is play a game and THATS IT...thats all that matters..none of this other crap..

I prefer the 360 controller and interface. *shrugs*

You can add a similar interface and the controller to a PC. You can use this platform for gaming alone, or turn it into a perfect home theatre device.

TRUE...but what "IF" you dont care to do all that? AND what "IF" you feel its not worth it? And what "IF" you dont like the way a controller feels or acts as much on the PC? I mean, does this mean we are lazy? OR does this mean we would rather have a device that is already set up and ready to go?

I 100% understand everything you're talking about, that's why i'm not arguing in this thread. I can't speak for everyone out there, what i said above in my first post (not the one you quoted) is what i would do, because i have immense passion to mold with my hands a experience.

I totally understand. And thanks for not wanting to argue...or should we say debate?.;)...I have liked messing with things since I was a kid.."40 now"..I build my own pcs..I build them for other people as well.I also build metal dance pads..my own speaker cabinets,heck I built my own house 15 years ago. I know a thing or 2 about diy projects..:D...I just feel more at home on console when gaming. Outside of a couple games on pc that I was good at or enjoy. I have no problems with people and their feelings..Its when they try and make opinions as facts and then try and talk down to other people who dont agree with them. I simply cant stand that..Its like being a nonbeliever in the bible belt....LIKE I AM...its hard to put up with..lol

SO if someone came up to you everyday and held a gun to you and took say 2.00$ every day...nothing more...just 2$..is that ok because its less then most cups of coffee?

Why would I be forced to pay for XBL? There are other free options available, and MS has used a subscription model since the original Xbox. I find value in the service, others may not. Again, its not a forced service.

I beg to differ...if YOU want to play online with your 360 games you have to pay OR someone has to pay. UNLESS you go xbconnect. And yes, I know you've always had to pay...I was one of the first XBOX LIVE adopters back with the xbox.

PC. If I could go back in time and un-buy my 360 and PS3, then I probably would.

If the price is such an issue, why wouldn't you choose to go with PS3, PC, or Wii? Again, its consumer choice.

That's tough. More of my friends have a 360, but the PS3's online is free. I probably would have gone with the 360 back in 2007. The 360 was cheaper and XBL was still way better. Today, I'd choose the PS3 because I don't game online all that much anyway.

Consoles are pointless without exclusives.

If every game was on every system there'd be no reason to own anything but a powerful gaming pc.

I would still stick with PS3 because I don't want to pay for online gameplay (I like PSN better)and I prefer the controller, also I like Blu Ray.

I miss halo,l4d and the xbox controller...thats it..other than that,ps3 is my choice..and only because of my 360 hardware issues in the past. i have no allegiance with nobody..

Yep and that's how it should be, having an alliegence to a giant corporation is just stupid. I do like the Playstation brand better though, butI'll play a game on any system and enjoy it regardless of the platform it's on.

Tough call. I like the 360 controller and user interface of XBL better, but its pretty much a toss up for me.
