If gow 3 doesnt get over 9.5 from gamespot...I think I will cry

OK seriously...im tired of seeing 8.5 games! I mean...all the latest reviews have been 8.5! bioshock 2, heavy rain and now ff13...all those are games that I expected to score more than 9.0...and 8.5 is now a really average score...gow 3 already got 10 on 2 sites including ign...if it doesnt get over 9.5 from gamespot, im gonna call gamespot 8.5spot! seriously I would love to see more variety in the review scores...there are not many games to review at this point...how about giving one more than 8.5 for at least once?

Or how about Gamespot switches back to the old review system with .1 increments?

And then give GOW an 8.6

you know the only score over a 9.5 is a 10, right?

Every game you mentioned deserves a 8.5 or even better a 8. Gow might deserve more, or not. Who knows. Gamespot is probably a fairer rating system compared to the rest.

Do you understand the concept of reviews?

Gamespot is not trying to please us with their scores.

They are scoring the games to reflect what they think the game deserves.

Seriously....some of you treat this site like a sports web page or something...it's creepy.

they said the new one simply just rounds the score to keep it in the 5s

so maybe if it would get an equivalent of a 9.7 or so it might get a 10 :O

At least that's what I keep telling myself every times I see the MGS4 review....that game is in no way a 10.

of course the chances of that happening to GOW III is pretty slim isn't it? :P

anyways, I personally expect GOW to get a 9.0 here.

Edit: Forgot to add GTA4 in that list as well...another undeserved 10 imo.

God of Flop 3, it will get a 3 for its graphics cause they look worse than pong imo. SSM couldn't make a game that scores over a 4 even with a GTA4 sized budget. Why did Sony make them first party i have no idea.:?

I don't needa score, I played the demo... and if the game is the same or better then the demo it will be part of my collection :D

I do think it's not going to get anything under 9.5, I hope it's that good.
