If GT5 Outscores Forza 3, I Will Terminate My Account And Never Post Again

By the way, even if we did all agree that Forza was better than GT in relative and absolute terms (which we never will), I hardly think that an extra ~.3 difference in the scores for the games counts as "destroyed the GT franchise".

Don't be too worried. GT5 will never outscore FM3. FM is a AAA franchise, GT isn't.

GT3 came out in 2001. FM1 came out in 2004. That's 3 years. Compare GT4 to FM1, as they released the same year.

it doesn't matter if there was a competition or not. If Forza is truly better than Gt then it should have outscored GT3 as well.

The primary reason I made this thread was because of my confidence. We know F3 will not get below a 9.2 considering F1 and F2 both got 9.2s and F3 is expanding on EVERYTHING from F2. I can easily see GT5 scoring below a 9.2 and expect it to score a solid 9.0, with F3 getting a 9.4shadow8585

But back when GT3 was out, there were no other racing sims to compare it to! Back then, it was the definitive racing game, and it looked so amazing because the PS2 had JUST come out.

The reviewers looked games and reviewed them differently than they do now (or back when Forza was released for that matter).

Forza scored better than GT, GT2 and GT4.

Can you honestly tell me with a straight face that you look at GT3 as a better game than GT4? GT5P? Forza 1 and 2?

So you think GT3 is overall a better game than GT4? In terms of physics, gameplay, cars, levels, graphics, depth? Ok, but that makes you a part of the minority.

I'm gonna base my opinion from playing Forza 2 and Prologue, not the entire game, just racing in general. Prologue was plain boring. The mechanics in it or something just dont feel right. The game defineatly looks much better but i'm not getting near as much fun with it as i do Forza. I'd put my money on Forza 3 being .5 higher.Kokuro_Kun
