I agree, plus the are third person bits in halo 3 from what i've seen.

The chances of Halo 3 not outselling and dominating Gears when it comes out are very slim.

Bioshock is currently being played much more than Gears (The league tables include "live aware" single player games)

Uh.... I dont see how any game could "kill" Halo... actually- someone explain to me how that could happen.

Um a limited available beta vs a full fledge public released game...hmm common sense anyone?

Halo, i thought was good for a launch title, but for a major must have on a console...i'd be forced to pass it up prolly why i didn't get into halo 2 as well, Both previous games look dated compared to shooters now Halo 3 i'll glance at if there's major changes in terms of graphics, and more than enough variation to keep my interest GeOW on the other hand, actually feels gritty, plus you also have those cover moves, and the "roadie run" and feeling like it's thrust you into the game, Where as Halo felt like it fails to deliver somewhere, it lacks that certain "je ne sais quoi" I dunno about you guys but i'm more excited about any new Gears content/GamesQuadster

All the games that my brother has played on Gears have the guys talk about Halo 3's release and stuff. While trying to glitch everywhere.

No, there won't be a major change in Halo's graphics. Don't know why graphics mean so much to you anyway. And personally, I think Halo's graphics have surpassed Gears.

Graphics don't mean that much to me, it's a plus, a VERY nice plus, especially if they can get the game looking better as well as great gameplay. It's just my opinion halo 3 still doesn't look all that much different to Halo 1 & 2, but only time will tell when everyone gets to see what it finally looks like I know what i feel is missing from halo 1 and 2 though, it feels way too static ie: drab scenery, somewhat repetitive etc etcQuadster

Ermm, a Halo killer would need to a FPS, not a 3rd person shooter.

The closest "Halo killers" i can see are CoD4 and Crysis
