If killzone wins GOTY 2008

Question the validity of critics everywhere. The Halo killer couldn't even kill the SNES port of Doom, and things have only gone downhill for Killzone 2 right from the get-go.Video_Game_King

If Killzone 2 wins game of the year 2008 I will lose all faith in the gaming industry and quit gaming. I'm dead serious. Killzone 2 beating out StarCraft II and Spore? look I really loved killzone 1 first game I wanted to play when I finished RFOM because i had only owned a GC and XBOX the gen before so i bought it and tried it without knowing about all the hype it had received when it cam out and loved it, apparently it was over hyped yes but its still a fun game and as long as I get the same level of enjoyment along with the great graphics I will be content, I want better multiplayer, if this game win GOTY 08 ill be stoaked but all I really want is to kill helghast my personal favorite enemy some of the things tey yell are ridiculous

It is being praised by allgaming sites, so if it does continue to look nice it does have a chance to win.

But all good games are praised, all thier saying is that it looks visually great, the AI is competant .... it needs alot more than that to win GOTY , infact if it doesnt start showing signs of a major revamp its going to go down the same road as KZ1 ... it will not meet the hype.

Thats a new one.Anyways each and every MGS game has been praised by critics and fans alike.. Killzone.. Not so much. It's not hating,a Killzone gamejust has a much LOWER chance of achieving GOTY than a MGS game.

Now! I do hope that Killzone 2 is a really good game, my PS3 could use a good game that isn't made by Insomniac, the only people one have made a really good PS3 exclusive as of yet.

Please. Those games don't even stand a chance. The guys at 3D realms have been perfecting Duke Nukem Forever for 10 YEARS. That game has to be a creation of the gods by now. Duke Nukem Forever is so great that people can't even IMAGINE the incredible awesomeness of it. Their inability to fathom its godlike awesomeness forces them to believe that Duke Nukem Forever is some kind of joke. That is how good it is.

I seriously don't think that Killzone 2 has any chance in hell of beating MGS4 for GOTY 2008.

And don't forget Fallout 3, GTA IV, and possibly, the megaton, Resident Evil 5.

No. KZ2 will not be GOTY 2008.

KZ2 will be a great game but it won't win. however i do think a PS3 exclusive will either LBP or MGS4Ragashahs

Spore and Starcraft 2 beg to differ. If you say that MGS4 and LBP >>>> Starcraft 2 and Spore, you need your head checked. Spore does what LBP does by allowing user generated content and then takes it to 11. Starcraft 2... well I don't need to say more than "Starcraft" to justify myself there.
