MGS4 won't flop. It could even be a 1 to 1 copy of Superman 64 and just renamed to MGS4, and it will sell at least 3 million copies with multiple people calling it the best game ever.

That being said, the days of system exlusives are dieing. Sooner or later we'll all just have the PSBox 360.

My guess is it's almost impossible for this game to get under a 9 here.

Even if it did how many times have we all seen people say you don't get a system for just one game.

honestly, GS reviews are so ridiculous i could care less. if mgs4 gets a 6, ill still buy it. ME and 8.5? That game was epic and yes had some bugs but not enough from keeping it AAA. You need to take GS reviews with a grain of salt. You gotta remember its just one guy who has his own opinions on what makes a game good. oh god and assassins creed a 9.0? ridiculous.

But it would be more ownage for the cows since they lack an AAAE here. While it still wouldn't make or break the future of the platform, whatever remaining hype I have for Sony's machine would be gone (which is very little as is). It should get at least 9.0 here.

Like any other long running, high-profile game, it won't flop regardless of if its not that great. Look at the Mario franchises, Halo series, GTA series.. What do they all have in common? Ridiculous money behind them. And a lot of that ridiculous money goes to paying for favorable reviews. I mean, look at half of Nintendo's lackluster lineup that scored above 7.0 when we all know most of it is pure rubbish.WillieBeamish

Only a couple of hopeful cows are hyping it a 10 the general hype is AAA (9 Or 9.5).

this will be just like gta4

its hyped to hell and back, and althought its a rehash, it will automatically get a 9+ because of the hype.

now if it scores a 10 i will laugh at gs for years to come, this francise is not deservcing of a 10 unless it really adds new things to it to improve on its gameplay(i dought it will).
