huh? They said the PS3 was easy to develop for?? who? Anyways we are talking about the PS3 not the PS4..Of course there was problem with the PS3 but as of right now the PS4 looks to be the better system overall for everything..Lets see if Microsoft is willing to put the 8gb HDDR5 in their system..which i highly doubt..stayhigh1

....... Your a moron.. Steel Batallion? A game that was hyped to high heaven in which they used the Kinect? Or games like Lair that were hyped before it's release as a flagship PS3 title? Wii also had quit ea few games before release hyped.. THey are not big games any more due to this failure, but that didn't stop the huge amount of hype before it.. These companies are businesses and they go where the money goes, it is no suprise they would be trying to add in this strategy if it were successful.

Also i have not changed my mind on 360, the games and experience i had with it was indeed the best (besides Demons SOuls on PS3 and the stellar 2013 games like Ni no Kuni, Dragons Crown etc)

PS3 was too late to get the games, but now PS4 is amazing and i think will be my xbox 360 of next gen

I just read that there is like 1 game in the US that has pasted 100,000 units sold for WiiU. WiiU has no hype because it just a rehash of last gen but with a pad controller.

Wii has slowed down now that 360 and PS3 are both out selling it every month. People had thier fill of that console. Dev's were sick of it because no one wanted anything but sports and Nintendo games.

PS3 is almost at the same sales as 360 and it released $200 more and a year late. So wth does that tell you?

More than likely most multi-plats are going to look the same on both the PS4 and the Nextbox. So it is really going to depend on which console launches at the best price, which one appeals to more people, and which one does the best marketing.

i think you should get whats the stronger system

Consider this fact, what games are played the most on each console... Exclusives or Multiplats? ... i'd say multiplats are what everybody is playing on their consoles 90% of the time... Call of dutys/battlefields etc etc

If ps4 is the stronger system, why would you want to spend roughly 90% of your gaming time on the nextbox playing inferior versions of multiplat games.     Ps4 might get better framerates or better graphics or higher levels of anti aliasing...       

This can be compared to 360/original wii/ps4.  Orginal Wii was clearly the worst platform for multiplat games cause the gpu sucked which resulted in games looking noticeably worst compared to other systems.

Rumors suggest ps4 is stronger, so if i was getting a console, i'd go for ps4.

so theres your sales on nintendo platforms , also if i remember they did one time run a sale on certain virtual console games  super mario bros was one of them  i remember it being 250 i guess it was around the time they celebrat ed the 20th anniversary of mario

If X3 was more powerful than PS4 it would have been game over for Sony, but not the other way around. It will be hard for a lot of core gamers to justify buying an Xbox 3, though. Kinect, paying for Live, and a less powerful system don't help any, but in the overall picture MS is betting on broad appeal.

If the X3 sells like hotcakes to both core and casuals, then games will be designed around the X3, and only exclusives will be the difference. Even then, scaling up from a near-1080p resolution is much less noticeable than upscaling from sub-hd. X3 could have exclusives that look every bit as good as PS4 exclusives to the naked eye. So the power difference isn't much of a factor.

The PS4 will probably be a bit stronger than the 720, but all the GDDR5 ram aalocated for games may not be used.

I then go to look at the facts

FACT

Playstation 1 had the strongest hardware of all the consoles at its time.  Playstation had better graphics than nintendo 64.    PLAYSTATION WON.  not only did it win, but by a hugeeeeeeeeeee amount.   Sony domination

Playstation 2 rolled out. Microsoft has even come out and said it only got into the console market to stop sony domination.      Playstation 2 was compared to xbox/ and game cube.      Playstation 2 had the strongest hardware. Playstation 2 won by a considerable margin , though xbox was now getting into the grove of things.     

2/2 = strongest hardware in consoles has won . Where is "history has proven"

Wii rolls out first around the end cycle of playstation 2, and has a brand new gimmick, a new controller. People are crazy. they sell in numbers.. But remember wii cost 1/2 the price of the upcoming ps3.     For a wii to technically outsell a Playstation it has to sell at a 2 to 1 ratio..   Playstation 3 has now surpased WII sales and its being sold at a much higher cost than wii, so also bear that in mind for how much sony has destroyed nintendo.      Wii sales were incredibly down way before WII U even came out. 

If wii won the generation, people are fooled.  Xbox 360 and ps3 won this generation, The orginal Wii had a 1 year headstart over the xbox 360 and in sony's case a 2 year headstart  in regards to total units sold. In the same space of time,  sony has sold  more than the orginal wii at a higher cost.  Wii didnt win crap this gen.  I consider every platform tied this generation as they all did well. 

WII U however, is poised to flop considerably this generation. There strength last gen was the gimmick, Now that gimmick people care less about. The new controller gimmick is not as impressive as the first gimmick. Now is the time wii u should be racing ahead of the real next gen consoles. But it hasnt happened.          There is no recovery for nintendo at this point, they will continue to take looses until next gen. 

If you want to talk about history proving anything, its that Strong competent hardware always beats out inferior hardware unless a gimmick is involved. If the gimmick fails the lesser hardware ( wii u) is in huge trouble.
