I can't choose one to be honest, even though I agree with Juken that Sony have been a lot less innovative this gen and are basically playing catch up on their competitors features (despite the fact they launched last) they have still brought some great games to the table and forced some good competition. Still its not like all that first party support would all commit harakiri so it wouldn't be the end of the world. Even so I can't pick one fairly :P.

Why the Microsoft hate?

They only have a full gen under their belt give them a break. They could do better later, we just got to wait it out.

I voted can't decide.

I'm on the fence between Microsoft and Sony. I mean, majority of the games are pretty much the same thing, so nothing would be missed if one of them packed up. The Wii, on the other hand, is something different compared to the other two...and despite my "lack of love" for Nintendo lately, I'd really hate to see them go.

Microsoft easily. All they indroduced were crappy hardware, pay to play online (while ninty, sony and pc offer it free), closing down talented developers, introducing DLC (thank you Microsoft now we have to pay for content that is already on the disc 90% of the time!) all they did was ruin the console scene.

loadedboon

As opposed to Sony, content to push nothing, unless forced by competition, without live the argument would be over which online is better Wii or PS3 and it probably wouldn't be an easy arguement. And Sony ruining the console scene by forcing Nintendo to go casual to a before unheard of degree.

The Nintendo I used to love barely exsists now. Wow... Sony just make the world a better place .

All MS have done is provided healthy competition which we all directly or indirectly benefit from and a good alternative to PS.

The truth is Sony for better or worse dramatically changed the market and MS just add a healthy balance to it now.

Microsoft I guess. Although the 360 is my favorite system Nintendo and Sony would deserve to stay much more than Microsoft.

If they were still allowed to release games on other systems, then Microsoft. They could just support PC instead. Imagine them throwing their support behind DX11 the same way they're doing with Kinect, would propably be better all around. Otherwise Nintendo, I don't see them doing anything that would interest me unless I get kids or suffer brain damage. (j/k)

I don't see why any one would want Microsoft to leave.. When they have the best UI, online play, and overall XBA support.

... There is no such thing as "deserve" in the business market.. I would say Sony, to this day many of their features are half ass'd or illogically done... while XBL and its arcade has steadily improved through the years.. I have seen none such improvement in any way for Sony system.. In fact they waste it on useless things like the virtual chat roomthat is Home.. absolutely riiduclous.

If you're putting a gun to my head and making me choose, MS. But I really don't want to see any of the big three leave, competition is good.

Microsoft I say, with my Kaz avatar and Killzone sig. Only reason for this being their 1st party division isn't up to the other two's standards. They have done plenty of good otherwise and I wouldn't like to see them leave.

There's a thread like this every other week and results are always the same. Everyone pretty much agrees that Sony and Ninty are far valuable to the future of gaming than Microsoft will ever be, thus they are always picked out of the 3 to leave the industry. Now if they will only kindly do so :P and if SEGA re-enters the console business :D

Sony given that since I was a toddler I've enjoyed far more games from MS and Nintendo. Sony's just been playing catchup to both of them this gen. I'd rather keep the innovators.

I'd have no problem if MS left the console market. I love my 360 but they haven't done much at all in the way of 1st party exclusives in years, and the hardware is terrible. If they left they could always make great PC games like they used to if they wanted to. Besides, as time goes on their direction get's worse and worse. Xbox was amazing, early 360 was good, but it's just getting worse and worse ever since NXE.

Sorry for bumping the thread. I've deleted my recent replies as I'm just in a bad mood (possibly a side effect from a new medicine I've been taking). The poll was boring anyway, I used to be conviced System Wars was over taken by Lemmings. Welcome back Sheep and Cows! :P

Nintendo. Sorry to say, because they brought me into gaming with the NES, but I am not really crazy about the Wii. I like my traditional controller, and good game.

Nintendo. With Move and Kinect what is the advantage of owning a Wii, except for Zelda Mario and Metroid, it is by far the most inferior system in terms of graphics, games, gameplay etc. If Move and Kinect were released with their respective systems from day 1 would Wii have even sold very many consoles....I doubt it.

i feel that all three systems are great this gen however if one had to go it should be ms. if ninthedo left we miss smg, zelda ect. if sony left we miss gt, gow, uncharted ect. hoowever if ms left thier exclusives are all third party so those games would just end up on other systems so you lose nothing. that is why ms is the most expendable

Microsoft. It would be easier for the industry to handle if Microsoft left the console market and it would let them bring focus back to Windows.

A company ahead of their time with a bunch of overpriced peripherals with dwindling third party support.

Microsoft, so they can go back to focusing on PC gaming, AND NOT ****ING SABOTAGING THEIR OWN GOD DAMN PROJECTS. Hey guyz games for windows live, but lets pay a dev to turn a 360 port of a PC game into a 360 exclusive.

Nintendo, since they are more concerned with the family gamer and less concerned with games I like.

MS...their 1st party enterprises just dont have the impact of Sony's or Nintendos.

MS, out of all 3 are by far, mostly for the 3rd party and multiplat. When that happens, it starts getting irrelevant.

Why would i want anyone to leave the market? People would end up losing their jobs :(

I suppose if some held a gun to my head and forced me to say, i would say Microsoft. That way, maybe ...... just maybe they would decide to focus again on the PC
