If Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo could be blown off the face of the earth and never return which would you pick?

Microsoft Its nothing personal but they single-handedly destroyed respect and loyalty in the gaming world with their damn money. They got one hell of a good console though. This shoulda been a poll imo.MonkeyStyle5389...Respect and loyalty? In a business? What?
I'm torn between MS and Nintendo. Ninty have done the most for the industry but they have really jumped the shark over the past few years. Microsoft may have a better console, but I loathe them as a company, they really are complete and utter 4-letter c-words. I guess I'd choose Nintendo.Floppy_Jim
I agree. I dont like the 360 though. I guess I would choose Microsoft

Nintendo's NES monopoly???
Sony's buying up of dev houses and support for PS1???
Both happening before MS even joined the console market???

Yeah true true but you gotta admit they way M-Soft is getting it done is in a much more worse, harsh, cruel, fricking FINAL FANTASY MAN. I'm over that by the way i'm just saying..[QUOTE="superjim42"]nintendo cos they are turning the industry too casual lolEspada12
Funny it was sony who started casualizing the industry, nintendo is just doing what sony started.
Did it ever get out of hand, did grandparents come on the news everyday and work out with the PS2 controller in hand? I think notprobably sony.
they priortise multimedia capability over gaming capability and they let their other divisions interfere with console development. basically they use the PS3 (and tried with the PS2) as a trojam horse for various unrelated tech so they can get an upper hand in unrelated markets.

Nintendo was guilty of monopolistic practices during the NES era.
Everything you are complaing about was done well before Microsoft ever entered the console race and Sony and Nintendo in actuality went at it harder then MS ever did in the console arena
I don't see why you waited 20 years after the NES to start complaining about this.
What? I'm over it. Its not like i'm so committed to Sony. I have a 360 Elite. I'm just Microsoft took one of Sony's main flagship titles. They already said it isn't harming PS3 versions development and nothing about it will change gameplay wise so whats to be mad about?MonkeyStyle5389Oh. Sorry then. Your post just seemed a little suspicious.

next time find a better response to an argument, something valid,.....word to the not so wise attack the essence of the argument not its form.
Sony is the one i dont want to go..
Hmmmm....nintendo..but MS is a close second
Pinkyimp
Would you really want Mac's to be the place where you game?
Microsoft I think. despite the fact I think the 360 is best console this gen
only because Sony and Nintendo are more experienced. I think we can live without MS.
But that's my (honest) opinion

Grandparents >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fratboys.
This is a really tough one. I want to say nintendo because the competition microsoft gives to Sony is much more relevant and interesting. Plus nintendo is the king of milkage because of mario. I really feel sorry for gaming in general when see what is the supposed "face of video games" get whored out to make mario sluggers and mario strikers and other crappy games. Theyre always on rerun maode with mario and zelda games which is why Metroid and Starfox are two of the few franchises of theirs that I like. Samus and Fox are the only characters I like. They always seem ignorant of new or standard technology (CDs, DVDs, hard drives) and thats just not fair to the consumer. And most importantly of all: they tried to stab Sony in the back and got beaten soundly in the 5th generation. Few things have given me more satisfaction than watching the history of the PlayStation.
Then I also want to say microsoft, but not Windows or games for Windows, just the xbox brand. They have made 2 great cnsoles. Well, 1 great console, and one great, flawed, console. I like the idea of a 360, but the execution was way off. And they had to know about the RROD and sold it anyway, just to get ahead of Sony. Once again, thats not fair to the consumer. And also some of their business practices, like paying for timed exclusivity and paying for exclusive DLC, when that money could be put towards opening a new studio, and making 1-3 new games, is really counter-active to the industry. I can understand some things like not making hard drives and wifi standard, but to overcharge so much for them is unacceptable.
So in the end, I guess I would point the Death Star at nintendo HQ and push the button.
Nintendo. Cowards who couldn't compare with MS and Sony so they went after the casuals instead. V_Isle
 Yeah that's the reason they made the Wii alright, they were just afraid
Blown off the face of the Earth is a little violent sounding. Are you a terrorist?
Definitely Sony

well if they went in the same direction as ps3 or 360, they would fail.
