People think the Pro is getting a $100 price drop in 1 year when it took the current PS4 almost 3 years to hit $299? If it gets a price drop that fast it basically means 1 of 3 things

1. Its selling like shit

2. MS comes out swinging by pricing Scorpio at $399 so Sony has no choice

3. It was being sold for too much to begin with

Xbone 2 will be a dud just like the original. Overpriced with no games. MS isn't interested in Xbox they want to focus on that 25 billion dollar website they just bought lol. They're sending the Scorpio out to die to push more people towards PC.

No games? Huh, could have fooled me given I have numerous Xbox One and 360 games on both my shelf and on the systems itself.

And do you realize how stupid your logic is? What company goes through all the trouble of R&D and marketing a product if they are going to sent it out to die?

That is the dumbest argument I have ever heard on System Wars, and I've seen some classics over the years.

@caryslan2: You asked what company spends billions in R&D to only send their product out to die? MS already did that with Kinect and Zune lol. Where have you been?

Of course the Scorpio won't be leading this generation anytime soon nor ever, nor will sales be a deciding factor for me to enjoy consoles (it never has in my 34 years of gaming). If that were the case, I would have easily purchase a PS Flop4. I'm not emotionally insecure or butthurt dramatic when it comes to an electronic plastic device like most Cows are. However, without a doubt in my mind, Scorpio, will be a success and will deliver in the goods. And I'm sure more cowering Cows will likely jump ship because, hey, they've been "power hungry" for a more powerful console since Generation 5 (N64 >> PS1). And that "power hunger" rattled their emotions when the OG Xbox hit Generation 6 (Xbox > GC >>> PS2).

I hear ya.

Been gaming a long time as well I see. Love the avatar, dude. Recently watched it again.

Yeah because Sony move was such a success. At least Kinect spent time in the lime light. Move never got off the ground. Most people don't even know about it because it failed so hard. Did you forget about Vita? Sonys UMD? You don't think their VR can fail? Sure it can too.

Business is about taking chances. Microsoft has the bankroll to take those chances. Don't cry.

Nice deflection, you still fail. You asked what company spends millions on R&D for failed products and I mentioned MS' previous examples. Don't try and wriggle out of this you clown. You owned yourself with that statement by and now you're trying to change the subject by mentioning Sony, you're an epic failure just like you sig.

UMDs failed sure and VR could still fail. Difference is MS needs the Scorpio to be successful because they are trailing behind. Sony doesn't need VR or UMDs (lol, does Sony even make these anymore?) to be successful for the sake of their gaming division because the PS4 is already a wildly successful product. MS gaming division is one flop away from leaving the market for good after the failed Xbone initiative. Cry harder butthurt lem.

Microsoft is behind to the point were it is hurting them? As in failing? That is where your brainwashing makes you sound silly. Sony's sales are just doing better than expected. It doesn't mean Microsoft is more behind than expected. So, they don't need the Scorpio to do anything other than the Xbox One has already done. You honestly think Microsoft needs the Scorpio to pull ahead to the sales lead? You are dull, boy. The company is still flourishing. Microsoft just bough LinkedIn for $Billions$. When is the last time Sony bought anything in the Billions?

Have some that with your asshurt, boy.

Xbox One family hardware fits MS's Office 365 "software as a service" subscription business model.

XBO's unit sales rate is similar to Xbox 360's unit sales rate.

PS4's unit sales rate is similar to the original Wii's unit sales rate i.e. (45 million / 3 years) x 8 years = 120 million. PS4 displaced Wii as the sales leader.

The loser is Nintendo's Wii U.

Bullshit PR talk and damage control. They blew the gen with failed Kinect and Xflop One. Hence the reason they are trying to start over with the Scorpio.

Why else are they releasing the Scorpio then if the failed Xbone that is 20 million units behind can "pull ahead to the sales lead"? And you tell me you're not a delusional lem clown. How is anything you just said now logical? Do you even think before you type?
