Probaly before Feb. 20th, when tyhe game comes to the U.S.Yeah most likely. You know what would be insane? If it got AAA. That would probably never happen, I would still be curious to see people's reactions on these boards. But yeah, let's hope for a good AA or high A game.
For Sonic it is. :wink:High A wouldn't do it, that's for sure. That's nothing special.

Isn't that kind of a bad thing? :(
[QUOTE="DilutedDante"]
True, but on the other hand, if Sega butcher Sonic again, at least thats one less game to buy.

The only way the game should be respected is if it gets at least AA. An A is just not good enough to get its reputation backsuper_mario_128
It'd still definately be a good start if were to get a score higher than heroes.
I don't know... Has anyone heard the latest Wii-k In Review on IGN? They kind of made it seem it may even score BARELY A IMO.... or could be a low A...yoshi_64what they say?
[QUOTE="yoshi_64"]I don't know... Has anyone heard the latest Wii-k In Review on IGN? It looked liked a great game, and it looked like it would be fun... but I have to tell you, when I saw you playing it there, Matt, it looked a little... well it looked like it would also be a bit... frustrating.." Then Matt C agrees. Basically he said that, it looks fine, runs fine, and isn't totally glicthy, but there were times that he almost just wanted to break his Wii Remote cause of it. For example. He said since your always on a straight path, you just move left and right basically. However... sometimes you need to kill all enemies in a room, and if you miss an enemy, you have to stopp, then go back, but the thing is the camera won't change view so you have to pray you won't hit the enemy. The next thing he mentioned was that when you have to turn, sometimes Sonic wiill turn on his own, and say you feel you have to turn, but you don't really, if you turn sometimes you may turn into an object and get hurt when you really didn't have to and just leave the Wii Remote alone. Those were some things he said...

The game comes out Tuesday, so it should be posted first thing Monday.

That's the sort of thing that might happen with biggininers. Why can't just leave the enemy alone and keep on going? If you have to kill the enemy, restart from last checkpoint!
At least it's not anything as bad as what they have to go thru in Sonic the Hedgehog.

Those were some things he said... i heard that as well. He said it looks great though, so thats good. With its good visuals, poor sound, good gameplay, bad difficulty equalization*, it will probably round out to a 7.9-8.4 range.
I think It's sad that we look at a Sonic game possibly getting low AA and being suprised, I can't believe what SEGA have done to the Sonic franchise...A2DI know its sad. :(
Well, Sonic Rush got AA and that didn't really change the opinions within SW about Sonic.the-very-bestThat is due to the fact that Sonic Rush was 2D based. The complaint has always been about 3D, not 2D.
In regards to Sonic and Secret Rings, it will have to received, at the very least, something in the range of 8.0 or higher in order for minds of most folks to be changed into any other direction than current about the mostly negative feeling on the series being in 3D...
After all, look at Sonic Heroes (GCN) as small example of what I am talking about. It receivedd what would be considered to be solid score of 7.5 and yet...despite that...little to nothing has changed.....if anything, negative feeling about Sonic being in 3D has only grown is size and strength......

Those were some things he said... They seemed to be disapointed on the 1up show as well. Shane said it was fun but the other guy said you had to do the same level over and over again and it got annoying. They said they still liked it but it could have been alot better.
[QUOTE="Panzer_Zwei"]Actually for any game:
7: good 8: great 9: superb 10: perfect
A 7 is a good game, people only look at the number.
Willy105
True. But that is GameSpot's fault for putting the letters so small and the number so big.
It's because you can't boast about a 7.0 game in gaming forums, that's why a 7 is so easily discredited. But a 7.0 means a good game.[QUOTE="SyluxElite"][QUOTE="CR00K"]Sonic and the Secret Rings looks like it could be the best Sonic in YEARS. I really hope it does good.
