This is the honest truth and there is no way around it. Lets face it, the year-long head start the 360 had over the PS3 is a huge reason the 360 beat the Ps3 in sales and it could never catch up. It heavily influenced the console race. Sony would be absolutely foolish to let this happen again. Especially with the Xbox 720 nearly guaranteed to be shown off at E3 2012. Why can they not learn from their past mistakes? PS1 = launched before N64. Won. PS2 = launched before Gamecube and Xbox. Won. PSP = launched after DS. Lost. Ps3 = launched last. Lost. Vita = launched after 3DS. lost. DO WE SEE A PATTERN HERE SONY? I do not want to see them falter again next gen. Do you REALLY want to launch last again after Wii U and 720 comes out? Sony's current President needs fired. If the PS4 launches last again, Sony will just be in the same position the have been in this whole gen and last place yet again. If the PS4 isn't announced/ show off at E3, Sony will be doomed and thats the honest truth.reach3

Yeah it's getting annoying. I have nothing against a good discussion thread but this is getting out of hand, there are way too many on the frontpage alone.

Someone, or a group of fanboys, is seriously butthurt about sony.

Maybe a Vita exploded and killed his mother or something.

Dreamcast = Launched before the PS2. Lost.

Exactly, MS is not going to tell him anything sooner than the rest of the world.

My guess is a new Xbox at E3 and a new Playstation at TGS.

MS could be moving closer and closer to Wii with integrating motion controls and launching a less powerfull system ('less' as compared to the normal jump in power each new gen) with the succes of Kinect. I sure hope they don't, but it's certainly a possibility.

"Doomed" in what way? Even if the PS4 sells less than its competitors (and if it releases after them, it probably will), that doesn't mean they have to drop out of the industry.

The PS3 may have sold much less than its predecessors, but its still been a mild success. Sony is in no way "doomed."
