Then why did the PS3 just outsell the 360 for the second week in a row 2 - 1? Many people here claimed that all these areas outside of the UK were not important and where pretty much a non facter in the over all picture. Well if you look at the charts in the UK PS3 only outsold 360 by 1k units but with these other Euorpean countries that many here claim are not important and laugh at me for posting info on them the PS3 has outsold the 360 2 - 1.

The US, UK, and Japan are the three largest gaming markets, hence are the most important when looking at overall sales.

Smaller markets are all well and good, but are statistically insignificant in the overall view of things.

Because choosing several small area's rather then concentrating on the big area's is like taking the reviews that scored Lair a 9.0 rather then the vast majority that didn't. Essentially you have to look at the big picture.Blackbond

"GYARRGH!?" was a rather lame attempt on my part to dictate the feeling of pain.:P

Think about it this way, multiply that weekly number for the ps3 by 4 so that it equals a month, and that still doesn't equal the number of 360's in US alone.
