If the 360 has no exclusives, why is the PS3 in last place?

Alot of people must not care about ps3 exclusives then. They sell like s**t, because most of the games people wanna play are multi-plat.

If PS3 has sooooo many "good" exclusives, then how come nobody is buying the ps3 to play these games? The 360 "has no exclusives," right? So why is the ps3 in last place and no one is buying it to play all these "good"exclusives?

Is it because not many people IRL give a s**t about PS3 exclusives? I mean, Sony even had to lie and state shipped copies of Uncharted 3 as sold copies to make it seem like it was a super popular franchise. :lol:

Why do cows insist on bringing up the PC when talking about 360/PC exclusives. I mean, you aren't playing these games on a PS3. All you are doing is stating the fact that you need two systems to compete with a $200 system. It's pathetic.

Price.

The 360 launched at $299.99
The PS3 launched at $599.99

The 360 was half the price. That has a huge impact in what console people purchased. Many parents would spend $299.99 on a christmas gift for a child. Not many would spend $599.99.

That had a tremendous impact upon initial sales, an impact that is still felt now with the PS3 costing more. You could argue peripherals for 360 etc, but the fact remains that the launch price was litterally half the cost of the PS3.

The logic you displayed--divide the months does not, in any way shape or form, reflect the reality of the present hence why I mentioned the PS2 as a perfect example of that. Multiplats are much more common this gen than it used to be. Remember PS2 and how many games that system had that Xbox lacked? Today it's about who delivers the best version of a multiplat.
