Dawnguard

Due to lazy devs and exclusive MS deal. Has nothing to do with PS3, as IGN clearly showed. IGN are experts, they get paid to know their stuff, you do not. You are just internet troll fanboy cheeta man.
IGN knows what's what. The Lems have been owned. Which always happens. PS3 is the best system, even IGN agrees.
still no dawnguard for you, metro boy, now take your preppy ass over to ign where they praise the ps3, gamespot knows whats what more than they do, and here they know the 360 is the best cause it actually has working multiplatsProve it.

LOL sucks to be a PS3 owner right now if you were hoping for that DLC.

That is not proof. Bethesda didn't say it won't come to PS3, just that they are having issues with it because they are lazy devs. And there are other aspects like MS having exclusive deal with Bethesda.
It does suck for PS3 owners though, I am one and love Skyrim. But Dawnguard is not really that great like people pretend it is. It's decent but not amazing. I know because I played Dawnguard before and beat it's main quest, which was pretty short really. I liked the Werewolf perks though.
Sales only count if your console is in first place.
There is no best console this gen. MS has definately had their issues (RRoD), Sony has definately had their issues(PSN getting hacked, overly expensive at launch, and the initial drought of games early on), and Nintendo has had their issues(No online worth talking about, serious droughts, hit or miss controls, and lackluster exclusives outside of Galaxy series)
[QUOTE="todd2r"]PLEASE READ! After seeing this thread I decided to go out and ask this very question to 50 random people. I went to 3 local Gamestops, 2 Best Buys, 2 Wal Marts, and one Target. I approached these random people and asked them, "if the ps3 is the best console, why is it in last place?". Once I obtained all the data, looked through the responses, I came to a general consensus. I don't want this to go over anybody's head or be too complicated, so I will use a language that everyone can easily understand. Out of the 50 responses, 49 of them came to this conclusion. "the ps3 fukin sucks". 1 out of 50 came to the the conclusion of "derp, derp, cows suck baboon nuts". ispeakfact

Why idiots keep forgetting the PS3 was the last console coming out? Wasnt for the one year head start and the x360 would be the one in last place...
Also sales =/= quality or COD would be the best game ever released
4dr1el
the wii came out after the 360 and it has outsold it.
Lol, yet quality = sales... so why is it that people aren't buying ps3's as much as the other two consoles? Because if you already have a 360, why bother with a ps3.because sales =/= quality

Explain how they are lazy, you talk about proof relative to the link, where is your proof? Are you also going to call the many devs and indie devs that have developed on both and stated both machines are similar in power? Are they lying? I see cows use the argument that sales don't matter, cows don't talk sales. If I recall in the middle of this generation right before the ps3 started to churn out solid AAA games, when the 360 was the one with all the games. Lemmings used the games, and cows used the "one year head start blah, blah, blah" or the many threads about "ohhh ps3 sold more worldwide then...." and now we see a role reversal. Fanboys will be fanboys, whatever argument fits the bill. Opinions aren't facts, they are opinions for a reason. The fact is MS has increased it's market share, Sony has lost market share. They did it with aggressive marketing, and lets face it... they provided a solid value in the beginning that Sony didn't provide. The ps3 is a solid system, but the fact is...too many mistakes hampered it this generation and the fan base didn't catch on till it was too late in the generation.Would you rather have Filet Mignon from a five star resturaunt or have a crusty cheeseburger from McDonalds? 360 is the crusty cheezeburger from MacDonalds. Most people would rather have the Filet Mignon but they can't afford it and they live in the boondocks so they settle for whatever they can get.
Because the 360 had a huge headstart advantage to sell more consoles, if PS3 had that extra time it would be 2nd place
They can't afford 249 bucks, but they can afford a 360? Derp derp. Excuses, excuses. Take the ass whipping like a man and quit making excuses. I think I might go out and buy some cheeseburgers and a few more 360s just to pad the stats late in the 4th quarter.Would you rather have Filet Mignon from a five star resturaunt or have a crusty cheeseburger from McDonalds? 360 is the crusty cheezeburger from MacDonalds. Most people would rather have the Filet Mignon but they can't afford it and they live in the boondocks so they settle for whatever they can get.

The only reason it's total units sold is higher is because it got a year head start. But in reality, overall the PS3 has sold better. But this is SW and most don't like to look at the facts.AmazonTreeBoathis is the attitude of ps3 fanboys? always trying to make the ps3 look better anyway possible huh! face it the ps3 is the least desired system and the one that damn near bankrupted sony
Lets not forget the re-buy's that the 360 has had in the last 6 years...... Which most likely counts for a good chunk of MS's total sales count for 360's. From almost everyone that I know that plays on 360 as their primary platform they all have at least bought one replacement. And a few are on their 2nd or 3rd which MS didn't cover the problem. 04dcarraherAgreed. I'm on my 6th one now. As a matter of fact, I think I will go buy 3 more today just to support MS. I love giving them my money and supporting the Playstation destruction.

See I can play that same game too...
Way too many factors to consider. Such as...
The pricing, The launch dates, The marketing, The core-audience, The buyers, The timing, The exclusives, The ratings, The reviews, The nostalgia, The demand, The innovation, The specifications... etc etc.
Just because a Ford sells more and cheaper than a Ferrari does'nt make the Ford better.
Simple logic.
In my opinion, I think its GOOD that PS3 is in 3rd place for sales as it still is shoving out better and bigger games than the 1st place for sales.

Lets ignore the RRoD rates from 2005-2009, lets ignore the E74 and E79 or other error rates, lets ignore the things that MS does not cover after the 1st or 3rd year, lets ignore impulse buying habits of many people that cant wait weeks to get their xbox repaired. The last time I sent a 360 off to be replaced the UPS store clerk there said he gets 40+ of them a week on average, if you think about it... that's awful, MS finally got a hold of the RRoD and e74 error rates when jasper chip released and the better with the Slim. But again from 2006-2009 MS's 360's sale percentages were increased by many re-buys... Also lets not forget that the 360 sales from 2011 vs 2012 dropped 40% overall, which tells you that between everyone that wants a 360 has one, and their recent console models are more reliable lasting longer without issue. Out of all the PS3 users that I know 98% of them still on their 1st one.

YLOD is a heck of alot smaller issue then the RRoD ever was, and lets not forget all the Error types and other hardware issues that MS does not cover after the 1st year and or 3rd year making someone pay MS $100-$150 to have it repaired. My household alone has seen three RRoD's, which two were covered by the 3 year RRoD while the last one was not covered, and latest one had an E79 error that is also not covered, Lets not forget that Slim model of the 360 does not have the same warranty as the older 360's with the 3 year RRoD and E74. after your 1st year is up your done unless you bought the extended warranty.
