If the PSP isn't a flop, then ZeldaTP isn't a flop.

What a stupid topic. ZeldaTP's score on a single site doesn't matter at all no matter how much the stupid fanboys here say it does. It appealed to fans fine and that's all that counts. both flopped.Neither met the hype. Zelda was hyped like AAA, AAAA by us sheep(I admit I hyped it AAA), and it got AA, which is not bad at all, but it flopped.

Now the PSP, it was supposed to be the DS Killer, takeover the handheld market, but look at it now.......got killed by the DS. It is not a horrible system at all, but it didn't meet expectations at all, and well is a major flop

Flop =/= bad

Same goes with handhelds. Some people have a hard time grasping the concept that just because something doesn't meet one person's expectations (the reviewer), the game is bad.
PSP only did bad compared to DS. Yes, that makes it a flop, but it's probrably one of the most successful (if not the most) non-Nintendo handheld to hit the market.

I'll put it this way: I don't care if analysts thought PSP would win. I knew DS would end up beating it but Sony has made their entry into the handheld market in a very strong way.

What people don't realise is that the next handheld battle is going to be a lot closer now.

As for TP, I hyped it AA so it didn't flop for me, but SW regards is as a flop due to its AAA hype.

Spot on. I actually think that the enxt PSP has a good chance of beating the next Nintendo handheld PS1 style

Sony are not stupid. They have no doubt realised that only the mod community or a minority of not-so-smart fanboys have bought the PSP and stick with it. Expect the next handheld to be more broadly appealing,have more in terms of bespoke/exclusive software and finally deliver on their promises of multimedia
