OK these peeps really need to just chill out and play some games and not be worried about the lifespan of your consoles. Who cares...i mean look at the SNES....i loved that console, games like Super Metroid, Zelda, Chrono Trigger and even SMAS are games i'll still play to this very day, i never did care what wasn't in anymore, sure technology helps but its the games which you remember even more so than the console Another example is the Dreamcast....i used to play on this beast for hours at a time, with games like Magforce Racing, Sonic Adventure, Grand Theft Auto 2, Soul Reaver and even Metropolis Street Racer, actually i lost interest in Console gaming for a number of years during the playstation's reign and the Dreamcast kinda got me back into it, i think because the Graphical ability of the dreamcast over the PSX which did match that of the PC at the time Then finally to the Xbox, PGR, Oddworld, Mech Assault, Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, Timesplitters 2, Blinx, Ninja Gaiden and Project Zero(Fatal Frame) again games i loved playing. I love gaming, and personally wish more decent games were out there, rather than just keep slewing out lots of games of just one genre, WWII shooters, Sports titles and WAY too many RPGs i feel are just not needed, HOW ABOUT SOME MORE Hybrid titles for a change or a metal gear solid-esq Stealth title with the same kind of tension and controls as MGS
It definitely won't win. If Sony fans all transfer to PS3, chances are it could come last. Just enjoy the console, it'll have great games. Vyse_The_Daring

The 360 does has some great games I agree but that is because it had a massive head start, but if you are going to agrue about hardare (and MS fans do all the time, the GFX being the best out so far argument proves this) then I think reliability should come into play. I have never known a more unreliable console than the 360, I have been planning on buying one however I have known of a few crapping out, and most recently my brother inlaw got one for his Bday a fortnight ago which is already constantly alerting him of a system error on the front panel light thingy (tech terms).  I had hoped MS would work on fixing these problemsand releasing a new cheaper model but apparently the elite was a far better descision.

and I will quit system wars. Life will just not be worth it if either the PS3 or Wii beats the 360 in the console race. It will simply not be fair, to me or to my life. I am talking console sales here, by the way. If either the PS3 or Wii sells more consoles than the 360, I might just quit it altogether, life would be so pointless and depressing. accameron

don't worry, atleast in north america, 360 will continue to dominate. outside of U.S.; however, ppl hate Americans (jealousy) and often refuse to buy american made products.

i own a 360 and i know its got no chance of winning as they havent done well in japan
