If Uncharted 2 was on the 360 it would sell 5 million

Uncharted 2 is selling good...over a million is nothing to laugh at. I personally can't believe it is not over 2 million already. It's a great game, and IMHO the best game ever released for the PS3. So really it's numbers should be better. I was really surprised to not find it in the top 10 of NPD for November.

Back to the original point of the topic though, yeah if it was on the 360 it would sell way more, but since Naughty Dog will not release a game on the 360 it is all just speculation.

If it was on 360 I still would only have rented it, Good campaign but little replay value. Though I agree that it probably would sell better on the 360.tbone802

It isn't though and like Metal Gear Solid 4 it never will Uncharted is a PS3 exclusive.

The lemming tc is correct, UC2 would more than likely have sold at least a good million more on the 360. And not because of some far-fetched mystical reason but simply because the 360 IS a more popular machine with a higher market share. It helps that the game is quite good to boot.eNT1TY

This is based on what, exactly? The first Uncharted was called a sales flop when it came out, but it kept selling steady numbers over time. UC2 has sold close to 2 million already and will probably also see some long-term success as the PS3 sees this holiday bump bring in new users.

Meanwhile, while lemmings keep spouting out this same BS speaking point, what happened with games like Street Fighter 4? Or RE5? Didn't the PS3 version sell better? Any bets which consoles will see more sales of FF13? What about all the 360 games that DON'T sell Halo/Gears/FPS numbers on the 360 (and there are a lot)? You can't just take a handful of extremely popular multiplats and compare that to every game because it just doesn't apply.

Wouldn't have bought it whether it was on the 360 or the ps3.

Honestly I don't know. Could of sold more or less if it was on the 360. Who knows.

Your lost man as UC2 is the best game this gen in my opinion. 360 users definitely would have bought this game and it would have doubled it's sales if it was on that platform. Unfortunately PS3 users only have the system to play blu-rays. I think that is becoming more and more obvious and even Sony advertising it more as a multi-media device instead of a gaming one. UC2 sales numbers have definitely been a dissapointment as I thought they would at least approach MGS4 numbers with all the hype and how good the game was. Unfortunately Sony's advertising paited it more as a movie than a game. LOL. Well I still love UC2 but people have to be blind to think this wouldn't have sold at least double on the 360.

hype exclusives games to kingdom, but don't buy and end up buying bluray movies instead.

The xbox360 is seen more as the games machine then the PS3.

Heck I've got 2 PS3's and only have8 games for it and use it more for it's other multimedia functions.

The Xbox360 I have over 32 games and is the gamig workhorse in the house hold.

I think the roles for the gaming platforms for me now is.

1.Xbox360 main gaming machine,

2.the PS3 for some exclusive-but mostly watching movies,

3.The PC for the PC friendly genres- Starcraft, Warcraft , Emire Earth, Eve-online

4.and Wii for family gaming and relaxing plating golf.

I'm still going to get UC2.. just after I finished getting LFD2, MW2(Xbox360), GeOW2 ( i havn't got it yet) Metroid Prime Trilogy....

so becuase the PS3 has blu ray player, it's not a gaming machine anymore .......... Dude are you seeing what you did there?? DVD is a major limitation in the x360, bluRay allowed games like MGS4 to exist, FFXIII probably suffered because of the DVD, everytime you play a game wz multiple disks on the x360, you shall remember how stupid DVD is in the x360.

the x360 had a year earlier start >>>> more games avaliable on it>>>> sensation of having more options on the x360.

you gaving 32 on x360 and 8 games on PS3 doesn't mean every PS3?x360 owner has the same ratio.

If Uncharted 2 was on the 360 you might not beable to play the game through, the graphics would be so bright youd go blind when you first start up

Damn, you know why - you just want to hear the cows say it. Some people don't buy games for their PS3, they watch movies on it more instead. SW is more pathetic than politics at times.

Well you do realize that SW represents a very small percentage of the PS3 users. I have 2 brothers who use the PS3 strictly as a blu-ray player. Most cows on SW did buy the game so it is just that most other casual gamers whichare the bigger portion of owners use it more for a blu-ray player sadly. Funny I have never played a blu-ray movie on either of my 2 PS3's lol. Of course I don't spend money going to movies or rent movieseither as I will just watch them for free when they are on regular TV. Don't blame the PS3 users on SW as they all supported the great game that UC2 is.

It's real simple, not everyone who buys a PS3 uses it for games... Sure they may pick up 1 or 2 but then they just use it as a blu-ray player where as the 360 can only be used for playing games.. well and DVD's but i don't think anyone is buying it just to play dvds lol
