I'm a big Sony and Naughty Dog fan and completely respect what they have done with Uncharted on a design stage but I find the series just so boring. I can't imagine giving this game a 10, then again I haven't played it yet, which I might never play it.

I doubt it will get a 10. I remember the hype trains chugging along for Uncharted 2 as well. It turned out to be a fantastic game and it got a deserving score, and I'm imagining the same will happen for UC3.
Skyward Sword has the best shot at a 10 this year.
Why would it get a 10? U2 looked way more impressive back in 09 than U3 ever will. 9 is more of a score i'm expecting from U3.silversix_
If the game is perfect, it will score a 9.5; highly unlikely a 10. Especially since Uncharted 2 was a very impressive game, it's got some thing massive to top. Not to mention it's going to have the triple game affect, in which they recieve lower scores due to not changing drastically or over all in general, and with the new rating system that a lot of sites have began using it's going to be affected even more.
Basically, the game is going to get praised if it's more impressive then Uncharted 2 and score about the same as Gears. If it's the same quality as Uncharted 2 or lower; it's going to get rolled.
Lems cannot "damage control" because they are not in last place ;) PS3 is STILL the one playing catch up. Remember, the 360 has more AAA, AA, and A on metacritic, more hardware sales, its exclusives sell more, and almost ALL multiplats sell more, and have more players on the 360. 360 fans are not capable of "damage control" because there is no damage to control. It is the responsibility of the PS3 fanboys to catch up.
However, I will be playing and enjoying Uncharted 3 day one. (am also going to subway tomorrow to get into the multiplayer demo).
God it feels good to have both systems and not care about the console war.

That is asinine logic. It isn't about the consoles, it's about the game Uncharted 3. If the game were to score a 10 and Lems came up with excuses as to why it's a BS score or it's a conspiracy or whatever, that's called DAMAGE CONTROL. Console sales have nothing to do with anything.

If Uncharted 3 gets a 10 System Wars will implode, sheep will become hermits and vice-versa, cows will become lemmings and vice-versa, a hole in the universe will appear and suck us all into it. Then from within the chaos and ashes that was our world the Crab People shall rise and populate the new universe as it will then be.

I dont see why it get 10... assuming that ps3 exclusive are not into the favour of critics here compare to IGN.......... however....... I definitely will get UC3

I haven't played Gears 3 yet because I have hated the previous 2. That being said, the third game sounds like it is really polished and refined and the pacing is done really well. Just like Uncharted 2. The difference is Gears 3 improved on its predecessor similarly to how UC2 improved on DF. Can we expect (this is completely hypothetical) Gears 4 to score a 10? I say no just because there isn't much left that can make the game better, dynamics would need to change in order for it to come out as something worthy of a 10 on any site.
Wait until the day after it releases, get a bag of popcorn, some good music, watch system wars explode for 20-30 minutes, then go back to playing games.

You obviously haven't played Gears 3 if you think all Epic did was make it look better, fix what was wrong with Gears 3 and add new Weapons and Maps and Modes. I guess making it so so you running is faster than rolling, Dedicated Servers, Vehicles, new Enemies and characters, Dynamic enemies, Spawn Protection, Weapon skins, Kicking people out of cover, Tweaked Gunplay and 4 Player Co-op don't exist amirite? :roll:
