If xbox 720 doesn't have superior hardware than PS4 it will get stomped next gen

I have all three consoles 360, Ps3 and wii. I got Xbox 360 first because it came out first and I really wanted Halo 3 at the time. Now Halo is no longer what it used to be with bungie leaving. The xbox has no major exclusives to hook me next gen; the only thing it could do to hook me would be to have superior hardware thus superior multiplat games. If playstation matches or exceeds durango hardware I'm going ps all the way. The playstation has better exclusives now. Halo is no longer the system seller is used to be. I could give a sh*( about kinect 2, please.

Just because you're gonna buy a PS4 because they're both same doesn't mean X720 will fail.

Halo is fine in 343i's hands.They just need to fix a couple of glaring flaws with halo 4 in their next halo game.And who they hell cares about the power of consoles.It's the games produced for the consoles that matter.

what will be 720's hook next gen. Halo doesn't carry anywhere near the draw it used to, and xbox live is more of a useless expense than a valuable service. If xbox next doesn't deliver big in hardware then I think the ps4 will easily beat it. Free online play and better exclusives are going to be a big draw.

What if the PS4 doesn't have better hardware than the 720? Also the 360 walked all over the PS3 until just recently

If the hardware is very close the ps4 win's due to better exclusives. Halo 4 isn't terrible but it's nowhere near what halo 2, and 3 were. The online population is significantly lower than it was in 2 and 3. 343 didn't do a bad job, but it's no where near the older Halos.

This is quite true. Whatever system it's originally developed for (the 360 is the lowest common denominator this gen) usually ends up with the best version.

Speaking of superior tech, did not the original Xbox have the edge over the PS2? Look how that turned out.

If you have all 3 7th gen consoles then you should know that the Wii with the weakest hardware stomped over both 360 and PS3.

360 isnt the "lowest common denominator", games are developed on 360 because of architecture. Its much easier to get your game/engine up and running on 360 than it is on PS3. Devs dont do it because 360 is the weakest console.

What? Where are u getting your info? GT5 sold 10 mil + Judgement release wont change the fact that Uncharted and gears sells 5-6 million copies each major iteration.

i seriously doubt sony's ability to finance the research and manufacturing of a super powerful console. microsoft definitely has the upper hand when it comes to the raw power and pricing of its 8th gen console.

Gears had an extra year of sales. Not understanding how Halo "destroyed ' GT but whatever makes u happy i guess. Gran Turismo had one main installment this gen and it sold over 10 mil, same ballpark as Halo. You Lems just cant handle the fact that PS3 has more exclusives and sells just as much.
