Who cares about mass effect 2 I have left for dead 2, COD MW2, and lets not forget DJ HERO. Who needs Mass Effect 2 this year hit title release is poor and I doubt mass effect 2 will be called a "hit" on x360.

Mass Effect is crap imo. The first one constantly put me to sleep. I'm not a fan of shooters to begin with. I'll probably buy another 360 when GeoW3 finally comes around though... right so it put you to sleep yet to claim its a shooter which are easily the most visually stimulating genre out there?
even tho i have a PC that could most likely play it i cant say im all that intrested tbh...imo i prefer the look of borderlands dunno why it just appeals more to me.
This is definitely a contender for GOTY. If they deliver everything they promised, then I can't think of another game announced for this year that'd even touch it.
I didn't like the original game, they basically took a really awsome shooter, and extended it by twice the length by adding unnecessary rpg elements to it. The world was too bland to have RPG elements, if you're going to be having me walk around interacting with every little detail, make it less bland, like Dragon age.
Yeah, true man. Luckily I still have my PC to fall back on when my 360 "went on vacation." :P. Although I do wish they'd port it over to the PS3...it's an awesome game that shouldn't be missed.
If I ever play it, I"ll wait til it's like $10 on Impulse or D2D. I have a PC that could probably max it (or at least run it significantly better than the 360 version) but I didn't really enjoy the first one that much. Bioware's style was great the first time I played one of their games (KOTOR), but it felt too similar in Mass Effect and their way of crafting RPGs doesn't hold up in my book. Plus I've got a huge backlog as it is and intend on getting WKC when it hits early next month. So while there's a week between those games, well, I'm on vacation on the 27th so it wouldn't really matter for me anyway.

Who is to say that it won't come to the ps3 in 6 months to a year? The way Bioware has treated the rumors leads me to believe that ME2 is only a timed exclusive that is under NDA. I am going to rent it and beat it on the 360 I borrowed and would definitely buy it for ps3 if it comes to ps3 at a later date

Had BioWare wanted to take advantage of the massive ME2 hype train, they would have already released a PS3 Mass Effect and gone for a simultaneous PS3/360/PC release of the second game. Obviously, BioWare doesn't seem to commit resources to bringing the games to the platform. The Mass Effect engine was built for the 360 and ported to the PC (their similarity makes it an easy port). To re-optimize the ME engine for the PS3 would take up a lot of time and resources... that they might have wished to put towards the PS3 version of Dragon Age, or the 360/PC version of ME2.
You really think after being acquired by EA of all companies, they wouldn't have already ported Mass Effect to the PS3? There is obviously something keeping them from doing it if even EA can't make it happen.
I feel bad for those that have to pay $10 more for the lower qualiity version, but that's life I guess.

"Lower quality." In what way? The two versions were created simultaneously... and I don't have the money for a new desktop computer that can run Mass Effect, let alone Mass Effect 2. The amount of difference in graphics aren't worth that kind of money. My 360 plays Mass Effect and will be guaranteed to play Mass Effect 2. Had I a PC that barely played ME, I may not have been able to play ME2... and if it was barely able to play ME, then it wouldn't have been better than 360 ME.
Uh.... OK? I have a 360 and won't be playing it... And I don't think i'll be missing much of anything.

I understand that a Sci-Fi RPG sequel made by Bioware in which the co-founder of Bio say's it's the best game Bio has ever made may not interest you and thats fine but, seems pretty tough to be denied that the game will likely deliver the epic goods and be a GOTY candidate sooo, just sayin. :P
im so excited about Mass Effect 2 i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! and yeah that new trailer is freaking epic! for sure GOTY this time it has proved that bioware did the homework ;3
All i hear is "blah blah blah we don't have uncharted 2 blah blah blah but we're making up for it with ME2" on that note i will be getting this gamemrmusicman247
