Xbox Live Gold is a great service but just because Xbox fans are proud of it doesnt change the fact that all you need to play Xbox 360 games is an Xbox 360 (tv, electricity aswell of course) ;)

One reason. XBL is for GAMES. blu ray is an UNPROVEN movie format being shoved down the throats of consumers.

Of course it does, and where better to talk about High-definition movies than a movie site. ;)

Although you are missing my point, BluRay is great and all, and you PS3 owners sure are lucky to have a HD movie player included with your system (if your a big movie buff), but i fail to see why a HDDVD drive (that only plays HD movies) should be included in the price of the Xbox 360 when doing a price comparison as it has absolutely no impact on the gaming side of the Xbox 360, therefore should'nt be included in the price as on Gamespot we should only be concerned with how much it costs to play games on our chosen systems am i right ?.

 Xbox360 is bigger than PS3 and more expensive.

Why ?First because Xbox360 has a big,ugly and heavy adaptor that PS3 has it inside. If yo stick the Xbox360's adaptor and HDVD player to xbox360 it becomes bigger than PS3. Second, Xbox360s HD DVD player is about 200$ so 400 + 200 = 600 and 600 = A PS3. You can connect a Keyboard and a Mouse to PS3. GPU is more realastic than Xbox360.

also PS3 is more handsome and it has blu ray.
