I want a Batman game that has a GTA feel but at night. It would also be cool to go to the mansion/batcave whenever you wanted

Two big ones for me were Dr. Mario with different game types, colors, items, leveling, and then a complete 3D Pokemon game that played like the handheld ones, in HD.
The Sims but in the first person, but you control one character in a preset universe. Basically just a life simulator.
Lots of things. One of most recent ideas was an arcade shooter not much unlike Perfect Dark, but with player statistics, weapons that have specific strengths and weaknesses and different kinds of armor/protection. A kind of rock-paper-scissors shooter that focuses on splitscreen multiplayer with botss, customizable maps (map editor i.e. Timesplitters) and equipment load-outs (not intended for realism, but for making it more interesting than just reaction time).
Just a question, do you guys think about stuff like this a lot? Because I do and I always wonder if other people do.
Like just today, my friend and I were thinking about Kratos being in Smash Bros. with his final smash being a brutal QTE "kill" on one of your opponents.

I think of it all the time. The Batman game I mentioned has been on my mind since I played Arkhum Asylum. I usually have other ideas I just never voiced them. Until now
another one that I thought of was a prototype style open world game, except it is completely cell shaded, in a JSRF style, and the environments are all destructable.
a 2 player (online co-op or split screen) hack-n-slash game which requires you to develop strategies between the two players in order to beat bosses and take on large waves of enemies. Technical with a high learning curve, similar to that of Bayonetta/DMC series/NG series.
Mass Effect(conversation simulator)+Crysis(open/dynamic/destructable world)+Fallout 3(RPG stat components) hybrid that allows for Natal as a secondary/additional controller.
the idea being that the user should be able to say whatever they want to say (and no it wouldn't be too complicated nor would it ever break a game design's pacing or structure)
SOTC was already kinda open-world in that there's an over-world you use everytime to access all the colossi, now take out the kid and replace him with some cracked-out super-soldier on a just cause 2 sized map with colossi the size of liberty city
think playing as the cliche underdog is getting old? why not flip the entire series upside down (and rpg's in general along with it)

http://udk.com/- Unreal 3 engine is free for non-commercial games and was what Batman AA used.
http://www.blender.org/- Free and powerful 3d modeling software
http://www.gimp.org/- free photo editing program can use to make textures
http://bloodshed-dev-c.en.softonic.com/- c++ compiler
There ya go the basic tools needed to create a game. Instead of just dreaming about making your gta batman, why dont you actually do it. you can find all the tutorials you need over the internet.
ALWAYS man. I think about it constantly. I am thinking of pitching my idea properly, I have the means to do so I'm just not organized.Just a question, do you guys think about stuff like this a lot? Because I do and I always wonder if other people do.

Not giving out my ideas ... :PTREAL_SinceHaha yeah I would be more protective but I know none of these bums are going to take any action!
I love these threads. They let me spread my idea that I've been tweaking for a couple of years. I'll just copy and paste what's in my blog post about it.
I have an idea for a new Action RPG named Ut Liberatio. Please give feedback.
It's 2019. An evil dictator, "Soter", has taken over the world with his army of followers. They are the Occultus Phasma Phasmatis. You start off as a recruit for the powerful resistance organization, Ut Liberatio. You have to do missions in a game world based off of satelite images of every nook and cranny on Earth. You begin progressing and soon become the leader of a two-man squad all the way up to Commander-and-Chief of Ut Liberatio. The final boss fight is a multi-stage battle against the dictator. And yes, it will be an actual boss fight, not just a wave of enemies or a weak person or any other of the way bosses have been.
It would play like Fallout 3, as in the first/third person perspectives and aiming, just no VATS. You could use any thing as a weapon, e.i. a stick, a brick, a rock, a chicken, a gun, a broken gun, a blown up gun, a disenigrated gun, a flashlight, street lights, etc. You could modify the weapons, fix broken weapons, or craft new weapons. You can by, find, and drive any vehicle and any destroyed one can be put back in working order.
The enemies, NPCs, and soldiers all look unique and special. Each and every one of the billions of NPCs has it's own story. The game also has a very long story, with 100,000+ story missions and billions of side quests given out by NPCs of all races. At the beginning, you pick a native language and then you have to take classes and read books to raise your knowledge of other languages. You will also have skill levels for eaverything imaginable, e.i. handgun aiming, assault rifle aiming, sniper rifle aiming, sub-machine gun aiming, chain gun aiming, flamethrower aiming, etc. You will have a level cap, but it'll be 999,999,999,999,999.
There would be a multiplayer portion, but only after development of the game has concluded. It'll will be FREE and I don't care WHAT Microsoft says. It will have two portions. The first is a massive multiplayer experiance where the world is filled with thousands of players at a time, like an MMO, but better. The other would be a basic, FPS-style multiplayer, where you can still level up. You could designate any area in the world as you battlegrounds.

You are in a great position I believe. Just the other day, your idea of the game set in ancient Rome was tight.Just a question, do you guys think about stuff like this a lot? I have so many ideas. Eve and I brainstorm all ofthe time as well. Episode Eve even comes from a game he thought of when he was 13 lol. It was a mix of Fallout 3, Killzone 2, and Gears of War (I won't give away any specifics  ). This was 9 years ago lol. It's fun and disappointing to see your ideas come to fruition in various games years later.
An Action RPG.
First person (that you can play third if you want).
Up to 6 player online co-op (free online not mmorpg)
Huge 100 hour storyline
Can take single player online or vise versa.
Online only spells/armor/weapon drops and vice versa
Over 100 tiered dungeons to fight in online. (beat first 10 to unlock next 10, each level better loot and harder enemys, etc)
Can level to level 100
Tons of ways to level/build your character
An epic steampunk medieval fantasy roleplaying game in which all the "standard fantasy races" (douchey humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, etc.) are in a strained coexistance in an industrialized fantasy setting, where each race is representative of a different political faction, and your choices of who to support and who to stand against are based off of multi-faceted political ideologies instead of simple black/white morality.
That or a third person shooter snowboarding game.
Sounds like we are on the same track. Good ideas. :)An Action RPG.

Take out planet scanning? Please? :cry:Mass Effect 2 with dodge movements and combat scenes like Bourne's movies.

Something like Bourne would be cool. Not exactly a born video game but something like that where you must escape from the cops or whoever is chasing you by using strategy and tactics and stuff like that.
Also an open world sanbox game from a first person perspective were you can explore the city like Mirror's Edge by climbing and stuff (not AC2/ inFAMOUS climbing, something like Mirror's Edge, but a little more realistic.)
