Yep. I would get it for PS3 instead though and special edfition. GTA IV was my 2nd favorite game this gen 1st MGS4. GTA4 was a masterpiece. And the best of the GTA's.
Never bought it. Figured a PC version would be released that, as always, is superior in every way.
I got to play it at a buddy's place on the 360 and was very underwhelmed however. They need to do alot to make me want it on PC now. Like 32-60 players online in the entire city, heavy mod support, and a level editor or something. Because it was very underwhelming. Hopefully the PC version is better.
Yup, it's the best purchase I made this generation. Easily, my most played game. The only games I wouldn't buy were Saints Row and MGS4. Both really boring and disappointing to me.
Yeah, maybe I would've waited for PC, but I would've bought it. It was a great game for the most part, although the story and the mission structure sort of broke up in the middle part (when you were stuck in the Mafia family contracts, the missions were basically all the same and the story had nothing to do with the beginning or end of the game), but it heated back up for the ending. The online is alright, as well. I would've waited on PC for mods though, because those really made Vice City and San Andreas something else :)
Absolutely. I was a bit concerned about GTAIV because I felt sick of GTA when playing Vice City a long time ago. But I was pleasantly surprised with GTAIV. I like how they put more focus on the main character and his relationships and made him seem more real.
As much as I like the characters of GTA IV and as good as most of the voice acting is, I'd have to say no..... the game just takes too long to play, by that I mean, there is just too much crap that gets in the way of the action.... and trying to keep your rep up with people that keep calling you on ur damned cell phone when you are trying to complete a mission is so ******* frustrating.
I got caught up in the hype..... and since I really liked GTA3 & Vice City... I assumed I'd like GTAIV, sadly... I've spent very little time with the game and have no interest in putting it in my 360.... I'd rather play more Gears MP or Geometry Wars 2 or Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
I don't even own it now and don't plan on doing so until the price reaches bargain bin status. I played it for like an hour or 2 at a friend's house nad was like wow... Euphoria... sucks. Everything feels fat.... I demanded 5 hours of straight up COD 4 afterwards. :P

GTA 4 is the best GTA so far without a doubt, best singelplayer , best characters and best multiplayer compared to previous GTAs Imo. I would had bought it again even if the price was 100 dollars for the game.
