My 13 reasons for not wanting a 360 1. I am contented with my PC 2. 200$ is at least 4 PC games (and with Steam having weakday and weekend sales which get really low prices 200$ can buy EVEN MORE games) 3. First RROD now E74 Error 4. If any of the 2 listed above happens I do not want to wait 1 month for it to get back, if its E74 then I have to PAY for the repair its not include in warrent 5. Not enough exclusives than intrest me 6. I don't want to be controlled by either M$ and/ Bill Gate$ 7. I don't want to pay for Live (hell at least the online should be FREE) 8. Lots of 12 year olds screaming at the mic on how they would own you 9. DLC issues ( I don't like the idea of paying for content that should have been for free and M$ charges it even if the dev wants to give it for free and I have mods on my pc so no need for that) 10. I barely have time for my pc let alone another system 11. I think 60$ is a scam for a game 12. The nearest retail store for a 360 is faaar away in the next city (none where I live and I hate driving) 13. For the sole fact that I do not want to P.S. I am in no way bashing the 360, I will admit the 360 has its advantages however they do not seem to attract me to buy it.

Nice subjective opinion. Its not subjective, its a fact that the 360 have few good exclusives. Its also fact that almost all of the games are better on PC.
Because I have a good PC and don't need one. I also cringe at the thought of playing any kind of shooter with a gamepad. I'll never need to buy an Xbox.

Isn't the 3 year warranty for most of all older 360 owners right now over?? Wouldn't that explain why so many 360 was sold last month...I dont care about the 3 year warranty i would support crap..Its a waste of time and energy to constantly send your 360 back and forth ..Also remember the warrnanty only cover the RROD of death so if you have any other issues with it, you are screwed and need to open your wallet to fixed it..Plus the 360 dont even have many good excluisve games anymore all of it coming to the PS3..Sony is annoouncing games none stop and their first party games is wicked awesome.. Cheap isn't all better American need to know that..lol..

It has a 3 year warranty on RRoD. Regular manufacturing warranty on any other problems that should take place. I own one, but why in the heck are you so knee deep in trying to promote it's purchase? Just go play the "exclusives" as you put it.
After all that, I enjoy the system and picked up Tales of Vesperia today.
off-topic, how is tales of Vesperia? i've been on the fence with that one. on topic: it come down to personal preference. a lot of folk i think were turned off by the RROD (although, and i'm not being a lemming here, the DREs were a big problem on the PS2, and it didn't stop me). really, any system you choose, be it 360, PS3, Wii, or PC has a lot to offer.

They have a 7 million unit gap and only 2-3 years to make it up. Not only that, their current headliners failed to jumpstart console sales (MGS4 did only decently, and Killzone 2, IIRC, hasn't even crested a million). And with one of their remaining headliners now a multiplat, they're running out of both ammo and time. Plus, the economy's bad, and in bad times, cheap sells and quality be doomed (ask Sega).
PS. Any price drop Sony can make, Microsoft can match or beat, maintaining or even widening the price gap. Sony's not stupid. If they cut price, they'll just stare into the face of a 360 that's coming dangerously close to the price of their PS2.
i understand, and i'm not knocking on the PC, but one of the nice things about the 360 is that it shares a lot of games with the PC. for a fairly low entry price, i can enjoy those titles. that was one of the attractive things for me about it.

There are all sorts of things that prevent people from buying the console.
overheating
permanantly scratching discs
poor soldering
bad ANA/HANA
AV cables going bad (how the hell does this happen?)
bad GPU
paying for online
I used to own a 360, but it E74ed after only 10 months. I loved the games (especially the RPGs), but the unreliability of the hardware is really irritating.
Perhaps you should think that people have different tastes or don't feel like paying to play online, I mean we already pay for the internet now we need to pay to use it on the 360? Pffft. I own a 360 but still refuse to pay for online.Jynxzor

Proof that the 360's fail rate is at 33%, or you're just another bitter fanboy. I don't have the WiFi addon, and I can play online. See that? Two points, and your credibility is already down the toilet. If you don't like a console, fine. But don't make up lies about it. That makes you look desperate.
