Poll If you game primarily on PC, do you also own a console? if not, do you want one? (84 votes)

I only have a gaming PC, i'd like a console but can't afford one 4%
I only own a gaming PC, not really interested in getting a console 18%
I own a gaming PC plus multiple consoles 51%
I own a gaming PC plus one console 26%

As far as I can tell, the only real argument against PC on here beyond personal preference is a lack of big-budget AAAE games. Console only players seem to assume that PC gamers don't get to play these games since they aren't on their platform of choice.

My thinking is that if you can afford to spend 1k+ on a decent gaming rig and regular upgrades, you can probably afford to spend a few hundred dollars on a console as well for those exclusives so most 'hermits' get to play those anyways, before going back to playing games in the best possible way.

personally, I own a gaming PC and a PS4. I'm really happy on got the PS4, i've gotten a good amount of use out of it, but its absolutely my secondary platform. PC gets 90% + of my gaming time every year.

I also know people who just aren't really interested in those big AAAE type games, and only really play niche indie stuff on PC, so i'm curious how many of those types are on here as well.

if you consider yourself primarily a console gamer, even if you own a gaming PC, i'd ask you not to vote in this poll.

Main platform is PC for everything and I also own a Playstation 4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, & Xbox One X. I'm in the process of selling my Xbox One X as I only got it for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the more I played the game I just couldn't see myself completing the game and instead stopped right at the end of chapter 2. Props to people who enjoy it on consoles; I'm just so use to ultrawide, higher frames, higher quality, better everything...lol. Better off waiting for the inevitable PC version.

LOL and this is why I couldn't bring myself to pull the RDR2 console button. I was tempted to buy it on Black Friday to play it on PS4 but from the vids I watch, it's just best to wait it out on PC and this isn't me saying the console version isn't bad, but I rather experience the game the first time on PC. PC just spoils everything, it's very hard to even go back to consoles these days lol.

TBH, if I was in you're situation, I wouldn't sell Xbox One X, it's not a bad console by any means, good for other media stuff and all.

Hahaha I fvcked up! Even the HDR which I'm a fan of doesn't work properly for Red Dead. I've read that Rockstar is working on a fix but at this point I won't bother. I did enjoy testing the waters and getting to try the game out but I can gladly wait. I even remember saying a while back on here that I was going to get Kingdom Hearts III on the Xbox as well but with what I experienced with Red Dead; rather wait for the PC version as well.

Honestly, the only reason I see myself keeping it is for my 4K movies but I rather get a traditional 4K player like Cambridge. So yeah...still selling...lmao.

Just a PC gamer first and foremost ?

I own a gaming PC and still own a PS4 Pro and Switch. I gave my X1 to a friend, as all the games going forward will release on PC. As much as I love PC, I still love the exclusives that consoles can get.

I've got them all. I'm slowly buying a part a week to upgrade/build new PC to the latest and greatest (not sure about the 2080 yet though I want 4K hdr 100hz first) not that is bad but everytime I go to play it my wife's playing Sims on it. Just got the switch ordered today with smash and Zelda to play at work.
