Shadow of the Colossus 2
with double the colossi of the first game, and an online/offline co-op mode, as well as competitve (speed challenge) mode, and/or an entire RPG element (towns, levels, sidequests, alternate monsters to level up on, gold system, gear upgrades, etc) That would be a dream come true for me! Too bad that is probalby not the case, and it'll just be another RPG. I'm sure it'll still be good, but no colossi = no dream come true :(

i think part of the charm of shadow of the colossus was having a huge barren world with only the colossus to hunt down.if it had npcs and other monsters,it wouldnt be the same..even for a sequel...but thats just my two sense..
as for my input for this topic...i'd have to say monkey island, the longest journey.and and a TRUE shadowrun sequel,as well as a TRUE shining force sequel.

I think you're completely right about SoTC. I think it'd be hard to maintain the feel of the melancholic feel of the original if all that stuff was added.
As for the game I'd like to see, a new Jet Set Radio would be amazing.
Crash Bandicoot for PS3, developed by Naughty Dog. carljohnson3456
That would indeed be awesome. Hell, I'll even settle for a Jak PS3 game.

Also very awesome. :D
Okay, my own dream announcement would be Mega Man Legends 3 or a fully 3D Kirby game.

Majora's Mask 2. With N64 graphics. So it seems retro, kind of like what Mega Man 9 is doing.BubbyJello
yeah totally, everyone should start making new retro games

no! haha, dude i want like nintendo to make a new super mario world, and id to make like a new doom but with all the same graphics as the originals, it would be sweeet. My heart like stopped for a few seconds when i saw megaman 9 was 8-bit lol
and just think of the stuff they could do like if they looked like old games but had the power of a next gen system, they could like make MASSIVE fully loaded environments and stuff it just seems cool to me
A perfect dark game on the wii.
Not some crappy prequel or w/e they did with the perfect dark on the 360
Zombie Survival MMO is an idea I've had for a while although I don't quite believe it's possible with today's tech, at least not in the scale I'm thinking of.
Their would definetely be a lot of important design decisions such as for example how a player would experience the initial outbreak, whether to keep that part single-player or host servers just for the initial outbreak and then transfer the players to the actual game servers, etc.
The main reason though why I believe this game wouldn't have as huge of a success as it could in say around 5 years is the sole gameplay element of this game is surviving against hordes of zombies, this wouldn't be a FPS either ala Left 4 Dead, it would be something like you literaly scavenging for food, supplies, ammo, using ANYTHING you can see and pickup and use in any real-world like way. And no I don't mean something like what we have now where a game says you can pickup and use everything and basically you get 20 items to mix around with, I'm talking about something like 1000+ items to use in w/e possible way you can think of. And of course the setting, whether it be a large city, a state, etc. or as large of a setting they can make it has to be as detailed or close to something life-like, no repeating buildings, no "you can only access like 1/40 of the buildings in the game, everything has to be accessible and basically survive a zombie outbreak online with randomn people in everyway a real-life zombie outbreak could be like...
A new Metroid game, with a new and deep story without losing the essence of Metroid, like the combination of Corruption with the original Prime game.
It could be a game that tells the story of a young Samus and how she earned the suit and learn to use it, or a brand new story after the Fusion events, with Samus now in the eye of the federation.
Also a new Zelda game with Zelda/Sheik as the main character, and you'll be able to use Zelda to solve puzzles and that stuff and Sheik in the moments of action.
