the next zelda for the wii would be set in a completely different world from hyrule, and it would sport the cell shaded look of wind waker...only a little bit darker in tone.

With you 200% man!!! I loved the original so much and my love made me overlook PDZ's failure, and it took me a while to admit that it wasn't good, but I finally did, man.... I miss Perfect Dark so much.
Either a Kirby or Zelda game that does something similar to SMG, in that it does something very unique and fun which fits in with the core gameplay of the series and allows for some great uses of the Wiimote to do some things that couldn't have been done in the genre before the Wii was created.
