If you have a 360 than the PS3 is only good for rentals

It's true if you have a 360 with XBL than all the PS3 has is only worth rentals. The only exception to this is Demon's Souls. Everything else like UC2, KZ2, Heavy Rain, GOW3 etc. can be finished with a week or two of renting them. The few amount of PS3 games that do have online are just not as good as the others avaiable on the market. If you play multiplats online on the 360 than you have games like BC2, MW2 and games not availble on the PS3 like Halo 3, Gears, L4D,ODST, Crackdown. All these games I mentioned are better than any online game on the PS3.

Now lets talk about single player. Which PS3 game in sp can give you the amount of hours you can get from games like ME2 and Fable? No I am not talking about playing one game 50 times which some cows here claim to do. PS3 has no good exclusive RPGs aside from some random medicore JRPGS that come out once in a while like WKC.

I know I am going to get tons of people coming here saying KZ2 is teh GREATEST online game ever, well than you are in a big minority because even most of the PS3 community has moved on to other games like BC2 and MW2.

Looks like you look for the wrong PS3 games.

If you have a PS3 than the 360 is only good for rentals.

Many of the games on both consoles can be finished in a weekend. A game like Valkyria Chronicles would be worth more than a rental. I also had a blast with Pacific Rift and Warhawk online.

That's a nice opinion you have there, however you state it as fact, which is incorrect. Your whole first paragraph is just your own thoughts, and i'd bet my bottom dollar that people will disagree with it, much like i'm doing.

As for the amount of hours remark, try playing Disgaea 3, White Knight Chronicles, Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls, plus the obvious 360/PS3 multiplats such as Oblivion, Fallout 3, Resonance of Fate, Final Fantasy XIII etc.

As much as I detest the mentality behind why this thread was made, I actaully do have to admit I rent all my PS3 games. God of War 3, Uncharted 2, MGS4, they are all single player games that I have no desire to play over and over again, while all the best MP games I play on 360 due to better friends list and better MP exclusives.

But Motorstorm and Little Big Planet are both really great games IMO and both worth a purchase that can be played a lot.

As for Killzone 2, that game was broken in a lot of ways. It was fun, but the gameplay was very annoying in a lot of ways.

But buy or rent it doesn't really matter, the PS3 has just as many great exclusives as the 360 does and Im very glad I bought my PS3 as I've had a lot of fun with it. Do I play it as often as the 360, no, but it's still a great machine.

and not everyone plays a lot of online MP anyhow.

But I will agree the 360 offers better MP exclusives.

I guess the TC just doesn't know when a game is worth a purchase. As for me, I buy most exclusives for both consoles and multiplats are split between consoles.

Personally, everyone I know and most people on SWs (not including TC) buys games for both consoles.
