[QUOTE="freeload"][QUOTE="D0013ER"][QUOTE="freeload"] I'm sure many people said the same about services like Messenger, Myspace, Youtube and the likes of Xbox Live and the Wii Channels etc before they all became so hugely popular...

Thankfully Messenger, Myspace and Youtube didn't have rabid fanboys gloating victory before they even got off the ground.
Like that would have stopped them.
As much as it bugs you that people point out the truth before the proof, does that make it any less true, or is that not the point you are making, because I really don't see the point you are making here.
The Home service, barring any major disasters, should and will be huge.
That is all I am pointing out here, for the benefit of those before me who decided to say it would not be and that somehow it wasn't a good idea of didn't offer much etc...
Hey man, my beef isn't with you, it's with the arrogant asses out there that think that Live and VC and quite possibly the world will end once Home drops.
I know, and if I came across a bit like a git that was not my intention. I'm just pointing out how I see it.
I think all 3 services are likely to be great and actually want to see what else is in store for Xbox Live and Wii's Channels plus it's online.
I just think people are underestimating the currently visible potential of Home as opposed to the speculative potential of the other 2.
Live is great but Home clearly looks like it is already going to offer that plus a lot more, in a set up that is more intuitive and has the potential to offer more fun too.
The Wii Channels could potentiall offer anything, even something like Home but with Mii's and the whole VC service is great, but right now it is almost impossible to tell just how much of that potential Nintendo and Wii will realise.
I just think people need to give Home it's dues, whether we are Sony fans or not...
