If you think Halo is the best game ever...

Why? What is it that Halo gave you that other FPS before it couldn't? I want to know what Halo brought to the table that made you think it's the best game ever?

I think Timesplitters 2 has a better split screen multiplayer. better levels, more weapon variation, and just all out more fun.

I completely disagree, but fair enough.

I can see where you are comming from, the plitscreen is great on halo. but have you played timesplitters2's multiplayer? you cant tell me its not awesome.

The best FPS ever made (IMO) is Counter Strike. Thats mainly because Ive been playing it for over 2 years now.

Its amazing for consoles, but I find that Pc shoters totally outclass them.

I remember back when the original XBOX was launching, I was so against MS joining the console industry. I only wanted video game companies like Nintendo,Sega and SNK in the market. I would make gags about the hard drive needing to be defragged and other negative comments.

Then my best friend brought his XBOX and Halo over and we played co-op. From the beginning I was just amazed at the graphics, and blasting through the first few levels with my friend was the most fun I had in a while. My anti MS bias started to go away quickly, and I wanted an XBOX to play Halo.

Maybe not the best game ever, but it erased my fanboyism.

halo is basically easy to access, it has a great history,,im not saying the best but it has a good one.for me the only problem with halo2 was the end because of the cliffhanger.it is easy for u t get into this character called masterchief just like people got into neo from the matrix or the people from lord of the rings.u get the feeling that the chracter has superpowers but in reality he doesnt.he is just one bad ass m#@#$f@@# willing to destroy w/e is necessary to keep the human race safe.when it comes to online gameplay i havent seen a game that can top it,well in my opinion.u alwasys feel like exploring and there are several cool different ways to kill someone and the vehicles,banshees,tanks, and now with the new mongoose adds more crazy stuff to the gameplay.human weapons and alien weapons creates diversity and what we can say bout the granadas when u stick someone from across the map.i dont know it gives that felling that makes scream "hell yeah"

Over 12,000 players still on Live Halo 2 say no.
