Of course, why would anyone think differently? That is unless you're one of the tin foils, holding onto every rumor about MGS4 going over to Xbox 360. Seriously, this is why I bought all three consoles. I didn't buy PS3 for MGS4 but it was a major selling point in a long list of franchises I love and or was highly interested in. As for Adam Sessler's comments, he's right. Though he is also not considering another hype machine. Casuals probably won't buy the game, as many did for Halo 3.

I'm glad Payton was so blunt about it though.

nobody has even played the 4th one its impossible for it to be overrated

the first one was critically loved an sold massively an loved by all gamers he was like a big hit outa nowhere

an like the 2nd one tons of producition value it was a blockbuster that delivered i mean an the third one great just great fantastic improvements on the 2nd one all around great job,

4th one looks nexct gen looks beautiful totally meets all things for next gen in sound/graphics an all no overratedness at all from what i can see

It's simple, whether the game goes to another console or not is often out of a developers hands. Sometimes a game may be multiplat against the developers wishes. Furthermore, I can't count the number of times a developer has said in black and white that a game would be an exclusive, only for it not to be.

What was metal gear 3 - was that snake eater?

This game is looking undenyably good, even for people that aren't fans of the genre. Not sure if its going to be enough to make me get a PS3 though. Maybe is GT5 shapes up well as well?

I think that it is staying with Playstation - to me MGS will always be and should always bea PS game.

The only way I'd own a MGS game is if someone gave it to me, but bundled it with a slightly better game, like, say..... Superman 64.

I've been saying this since September when I had a sales meeting with Konami. Their rep specifically said the reason it's exclusive is a contract. I highly doubt if Sony was willing to pay for exclusivity it would EVER come to the X360. It's muchmore likely you see Bioshock on PS3 before you see MGS4 on X360.

Another person, this time a assistant producer has said it is exclusive to the PS3...

When will lemmings give up and realize that the game is on the PS3 and the PS3 only?

If they want me to play MGS4, they need to port it to 360.
If they want to reach a fanbase larger then the PS3 to cover for the production costs, they NEED to port it to 360.

If that doesn't happen... well I don't really mind. :P
