Yet, comparing the average game scores for all 7th generation consoles, the Wii has the lowest. Funny.

"Smash what? Metroid... in 3d? Urghs, not for me. I grew up, Nintendo didnt I am sorry".
So you want Nintendo to "grow up" by keeping it's games 2D instead of 3D? Is that what I'm to understand?
If you like 2D franchises so much, what do you play on your 360 and PS3? What 2D franchises do those systems have?
One of the major concerns with the Wii has been lack of third party games. That is no longer the case. There are a whopping 86 games being released this quarter alone. That is almost a game a day. Even if only 20% of those games turn out to be great, that is still 17 games. And that doesn't even count all the classic VC games, which now includes the Neo Geo. And let's not forgot that the Wii is the only console that is home to Nintendo's venerable favourites like Zelda, Metroid, Mario, and Smash Bros.
The Wii - fulfilling a hardcore gamer's needs since Nov./06.

20%?!
Try 5%.
WAY to optimistic. This has to be a joke.
If you're a hardcore gamer, the Wii is all you need. UMMM lemme just correct something...
If you're Old, very young, a huge sheep, or poor, the Wii is all you need. That's better...
The amount of Wii-hating in this board is sad.
There's an old saying: if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Its about time I mean I like dry periods to catch up on the backlog but man it was getting stupid. Ill actualy have to set some time aside for some wii games :O Im glad things are starting to turn out well :D but man so many good games on so many platforms, there are good games coming out now that I would have taken notice of earlier in the year but im gonna have to drop things like drawn to life for the big titles on my list. I never thought id see so many goodgames at once, the industry really is booming I would have never imagined this a few years ago. Random fact:On just one day in september this yearaustralia saw the release of 30+ games. Im just getting left speechless, the industrysmaking more of an impact then everand the games are coming fast and thick life is sweet. With this many goodgames coming outthe backlog of games I want to play will be so huge it will see me rite through next years dry period :D probably...:P
Also, you must remember all of the WiiWare games that will be rolling out.
The WiiWare already has a Final Fantasy game coming out for example, so you just need to be patient.
