IGN Assassin's Creed 4: Xbox One vs. PS4 visual comparison

1080p vs 720p IS a big difference, by the way. Not night and day, and there are other important measures of fidelity, obviously.

I just find it silly that people arguing it's not. Sitting 12 feet from a 32 inch Samsung 720p LCD TV right now and I can tell it's not 1080p.

I have ghosts for both ps4 and Xbox one. I played first hour on both and switched back and forth. On my 60" TV the difference is so minor that you have to literally zoom on backgrounds or small objects to find differences between the two. However, I prefer the xbox one controller and the voice controls so play on that. I also took pics of AC4 on my ps4 before and after the 1080p patch and again you have to specifically look at leaves etc to see any minor difference. I would pick more effects and better frame rate over higher res.

I have a feeling they both look similar because this game was also released on the X360 and PS3. When truly next-gen titles start coming out we're going to see a lot of differences.
